great jacket
January 04, 2012

this jacket is so cute on, it's not boxy and the sleeves are long enough. It is warm and yet very light and soft. A great fit and easy for my 12 year old daughter to wear.

I bought this coat for my daughter for Christmas and hopefully she will love it. She's not as brand-conscious as some of her friends who prefer North Face or nothing. The unique color, style, and good brand quality of Patagonia is sure to please. I'm sure it will be a staple in her Chicago winter wardrobe after she opens it for Christmas.

Good Value
November 28, 2011

Overall good value. I live in Iowa and needed a transition coat during those awkward days where temps linger in the 40's. So far so good....it holds up well at night when temps drop to mid 30's. I am not sure it would hold up to the Iowa winter with subzero temps. Aesthetically, the color is far from what is portrayed online. The cloth is a bit transparent and the down flecks can be seen, this causes a shadowy gray color rather than the "white" color seen online. Also, I am 4'9", 100lbs and generally wear a XS in womens or L in kids Northface....this item runs a little large on the sleeves and waist.

Pros: Great value

lightest jacket
October 04, 2011

This weighs less than some of my t shirts but it is warm and soft. Can't wait until it gets cold here so that I can try it in snow! Highly recommend it...bought xl girls for my fit..usually women's small. It fits perfect!

Pros: Performance, Ease of use

Perfect!
September 22, 2010

This jacket is still a little big for my daughter, however it still provides incredible warmth. We do a lot of camping and this is the perfect jacket to pack b/c it compacts well. A great buy that will get tons of usage.
