This Patagonia kids' vest has a smooth recycled polyester shell with a DWR finish for windproof and water-repellant performance. It's stuffed with 600-fill goose down that will keep her core heated without burdening her arms in bulky jacket sleeves. Pull it on over a sweater, or wear it under a shell, the lofty down has a high warmth to weight ratio and is quilted with a unique diagonal baffle pattern to keep it in place. The full length front zipper has a soft chin guard to pamper her skin, and an internal windflap to block out breezes. Zippered handwarmer pockets defrost fingers after she finishes her hot cocoa and she's ready to strap on her snowshoes for more fun. Super comfy and warm, but does not fit true to size. I would recommend ordering a size smaller than you would usually wear.
