The R3® Polartec® Thermal Pro® polyester fleece fabric is just as warm as Patagonia's 11-oz. Synchilla®, but the weight is lighter and the pile is slightly thinner for mobility and comfort in the backcountry. The inner face has a grid pattern that enhances airflow and makes it easy to compress for easy packing. The redesigned fit takes away some of the excess fabric around the arm and torso area, giving you a streamlined fit that still accommodates several inner layers.
