solid kid's coat
My son got this for Christms and he loved it. As a 9 year old who much prefers toys to clothes, he was surprisingly excited to get this jacket. It is warm, in his favorite color, orange, and a bit large so with the Patagonia quality and durability, hopefully it will last a few seasons. He went from a boy who only wanted to wear a fleece in cold Chicago winters to one who grabs this down jacket and no doubt stays a lot warmer and happier.

Patagonia Kid's Down Jacket Rocks!
The Patagonia Kid's Down Jacket is near perfect. The coat is soft and warm, and the design and construction are first-rate. Our kids really love this jacket. And one of the best features is that this down jacket is machine washable. Our's has survived two hand-me-downs and is still going strong. It was a great purchase. Highly recommended.

bought the orange colored one for my boy and it looks great. the jacket is warm and light. the down feathers stay in the jacket, even after being in the washer. i will most likely buy another for my kid after he out grows this one.

Very cute boy's jacket
I got the green plaid jacket and in the sea of black and navy coats for boys, this one stands out. The fit is a little long in the arms and short in the torso, but overall it's a nice jacket. The best part is Patagonia stands by their products so if anything goes wrong (zipper, etc.) they will replace it!

Warm and Cute
My eight year old daughter loves this jacket. It is super warm but light and not bulky at all. I ordered her a medium, she is 62 lbs with an average build and it is very roomy. We should get several years of wear out of it!!

Great product!
My picky 7-year-old loves this coat. It's warm, cozy and the purple plaid is adorable! I can't wait for her to test it out during the next snowstorm. It should keep her dry too.

Great Jacket
I bought two of these for my boys and they also really love their new jackets. They are very, very warm and they look cute too....added bonus! I kind of wish Patagonia would put a beefier zipper on these, both for durability reasons and for ease of zipping for little hands, but we will hope the zippers stand the test of time. However, if you ever do need to return anything, I've always had the BEST customer service from Patagonia. If I could just get them to put a hood on this jacket....it would be perfect!!!

My boys love this jacket!
If your son loves to head outdoors without a jacket in below freezing temperatures because he doesn't want to feel constricted while he runs, jumps, bounces and shoots, than this is the one for him! Our boys hated putting on a jacket until this Patagonia. It feels lightweight making it very comfortable but provides warmth at the same time. Both our boys love it, and reach for it everyday, before heading out the door.

Great coat
Bought this coat for my 5 year old daughter. She has only worn it a few times but so far she really likes it. It seems to fit true to size. The only negative thus far is the zipper. It is a little difficult for her to zip up. Not sure if this is because of the quality of the zipper or because I ordered a size slightly larger so she could grow into it. Regardless, it is a very nice, high quality coat that I highly recommend.

A staple every year
I continue to buy these jackets for my kids... A+++++ They wear like iron, and keep them warm. This item is on our coat rack 7 months a year!

Love this jacket!
We ordered this jacket for my son. It is cut/fits well, and looks like it will keep him plenty warm in our cold Minnesota winters. It is a great looking, but functional jacket. We love it.
