The wind resistant shell designed in 2.5 oz. polyester with Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) treatment is reversible with its 7.5 oz. 1/4 " pile polyester (86% recycled) interior. Inside out or outside in, the snap front placket with snap-through stand-up collar buttons things up, while an on-seam snap chest pocket on both polyester and pile sides stashes a note to the teacher. An Eco-friend, the Snap-T fleece is recycled through the Common Threads Recycling Program making its environmental impact significantly lower than creating the same fiber from virgin materials. New polyester fiber from recycled garments results in an energy savings of 76% and a CO2 emissions [greenhouse gasses] reduction of 71%.
