I bought it because it matched the rest of the outfit and was thrilled to find it REALLY is lighter than any other hat I've got! It doesn't feel constricting, which is great for my headache prone head, and the colors are beautiful. Will get more!

Great hat
This cap is a Patagonia product that is warm, attractive, and large enough to let me wear glasses comfortably. The cap is true to size. The built-in polyester fleece headband protects my forehead and ears from being irritated by the wool. I was so impressed with this cap that I recommended it to both my sons in Boston. It is the best ski cap I have seen. If I lost it I would buy another just like it. Patagonia also make other terrific products including a myriad of sports gloves which Altrec.com carries.

Great Hat!
Got this hat to match a down jacket for my dad... in short, matched beautifully, was a total home run for a guy who typically accepts nothing but Swix! A little heavier weight than your typical Swix, this is perfect for a walk in the cold.

Awesome Hat
This is a great hat. Vivid colors. I have a larger sized melon and this hat fits well and still covers my ears. It has warmth without weight or bulk. The hat also retains its shape quite well after repeated use and washings.

Great Hat

Loved the hat!
Got this for my husband. He loves the colors (Nomad Black which also has deep green) And its very comfy with the fleece, no itch. Wore it skiing and also for just hanging out in the lodge . Great product, thanks. Nanette

Great Lightweight Hat
This was perfect for Spring skiing. Good looking and comfortable. I have had hats that make your ears sore after a day of use bacause of too much elastic. You know the feeling! Not this one. Get It!

This is a great hat!
This hat is light-weight for the kinds of cold-weather aerobic activity that I do. Combined with the hood of a shell, I'm still warm when I slow down. The fleece lining keeps it from being itchy. It's a great layering piece. The picture on the website showed the true color, which isn't always the case. It was just what I expected.

Perfect Fit
I love this hat! The colors are true to what shows online, its stylish, fits great, and is perfect for those winter activities. I ordered it elsewhere but after a recent purchase on Altrec I'd stick with them for the future - prices are comparable and the service is great.

Warm & Fuzzy feeling
Easily one of the best hats I've ever owned. The fit is great and the wool keeps your skull toasty while the sewn-in fleece headband keeps you from itchin'. Plus there's the matter of that fancy tassel...

high quality
Got this hat as a christmas present. It is very high quality, made in France. The fleece band inside keeps your ears from itching. I have a very large head, and amazingly the L fits loosely on my head. The loose fit is nice because it doesn't compress my head like other hats. A great spring ski hat. For really cold days, you will probably want a heavier hat.
