Patagonia Lightweight Ski Socks:
Our choice for spring corn skiing in the Sierra. Versatile and lightweight, they're cut long for big-boot compatibility. Made from a foursome of yarns (merino wool, nylon, polyester, spandex) for temperature regulation, durability and superior moisture transport. Looped construction in the footbed, shin and over the foot cushions on rugged trails; felted, chlorine-free wool yarns provide long-term stability and performance. Jersey-knit cuffs dry quickly, and the Lintoe® creates the smallest, flattest seam possible (making your toes very happy). Made in USA.
- Lightweight is perfect for multifaceted use; Fabric content balances wicking performance, cushion and durability; Soft, lightweight Merino wool is itch-free and maintains durability and cushion for the lifetime of the sock
- Looped construction on foot bed, front shin and top of foot for next-to-skin comfort and shin protection; felted wool yarns are chlorine-free for long-term stability and performance
- Variable knit construction creates specific zones within the sock for additional cushion and increased breathability
- Elastic, ravel-free welt is non-restrictive and prevents socks from sloughing into boots; 3-layer knitted construction increases next-to-skin comfort, durability and adds a soft hand; nylon "sandwiched" in the middle is highly durable
- Looped Lintoe® toe construction creates the smallest and flattest seam possible for ultimate toe comfort; it also minimizes waste in the knitting process; Knitted-in Capilene® performance for superior moisture management; Elastic arch band provides arch support and a snug fit
- Shaft length extends to mid-calf for leg coverage under hiking boots
- 62% merino wool, 23% nylon, 12% polyester, 3% spandex with Capilene® performance
