awesome bag
August 01, 2011
I was previously using another lightweight messenger bag until I discovered this one. As soon as I tried it on, I had to buy it. The strap is very comfortable, and it can hold a lot of weight. I use it to carry my dslr camera while traveling. I am trying to travel light, and this bag will help me do that.
Pros: Great design, comfortablemakes a great gym bag!

I ordered this bag for one purpose and ended up using it as a gym bag. handy pockets, but main reason is I can carry this across my chest comfortably unlike a duffel bag. I have been using Patagonia for more than 20 years and have never been disappointed. Ordered the travel tote for my daughter to use as a diaper bag!
Lightweight travel bag.

This bag is everything I hoped it would be. It's made of strong nylon and has excellent zippers. The strap is adjustable to any length and the main compartment can fit a change of clothes. The zippered front pocket is big enough to fit paperbacks or whatever you want to reach easily. It has a small pocket inside for small things you don't want to lose. I can't find anything to improve this bag. It's perfect. Delivery was within 4 days with free shipping.

If I don't need my 15" laptop (which actually can fit in here if I need it to!) this is THE bag I never leave home without! Love it!
A Bit Smaller than 2008 Model, but Still Great!

I purchased one of these in 2008, and it was much roomier. This one, though smaller in capacity, has lost nothing in the way of quality, design, or overall function. Glad to have the sil-nyl fabric back too! Roomy enough as an overnight bag ... or as a weekend bag for an ultralight packer. I used my former one for two years on frequent air travel trips, in combo with the patagonia travel tote. Was able to put tons in those two ultra-light bags...and never had to check any luggage. They are light to carry, well organized, and have comfortable handles and straps. Sturdy and durable fabric and quality-made. Perfect for travel, commuting, camping, going on foot/bike, etc... but possibly vulnerable to thorns, coral reefs, sharp stuff. (though possibly sealed right up with a tent patch kit or the like too) Highly recommended if you need ultralight, water resistant, practical, quality bag.

Great Colors!

I was looking for a bag that my kids in college could use to stow gear on trips or carry a few groceries in on their way back from the store but could fold up to nothing in the limited space of their dorm rooms. This fit the bill. They love the bright colors! In the winter though they generally use them to pack around their skate ski boots. The bags are really light but have held up surprisingly well so far.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of useGreat Versatile Bag

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this bag. But it exceeded my expectations with its very light but durable fabric and roomy insides. It also has a few pockets to stash things and 2 outside pockets for water, etc. I use it for the gym but would also travel with it.
