I'm picky when it comes to beanies..gotta fit right, not too tight that it would give me a headache and it has to look cute on!...This Beanie is perfect! Kept me warm on the slopes, perfect fit, beautiful color! Need to get another one!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance

Extremely well made beanie and pretty light. Many beanies are too small to fit my head properly or cover my ears and the back of my head. This bean has a superb snug fit and good coverage all over. Combine this with top-notch lining quality and it is very warm. Only downfall is the retail price. Highly recommend, especially when on sale.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, warm
Comfy Cozy and WARM

This hat is perfect for cold weather. It cuts through the wind and keeps your ears and the warmth from your head from escaping. Very happy with this purchase.

This beanie has a nice snug fit, not too loose. I really like the lining because it actually blocks wind and keeps my head warm while walking the Chicago city streets!

I bought this hat to wear with my Patagonia Down sweater and I must say I was very pleased. The beanie has a good fit but most importantly it keeps my head warm. I should get many years of use from it as long as I don't misplace it.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Cons: Cost

I already had the unlined version of this hat and found it not warm enough. Once I purchased the lined version found it much warmer! Very soft fleece lining and very comfortable. I would highly recommend especially if your looking for something warmer than the unlined version...Keeps me warm in sub zero weather!Pros: Performance, Ease of use, Cons: Wears quickly

This lined beanie is well worth the money. It is the warmest hat I have ever owned. This thing has kept my head warm through any windchill mother nature threw it's way. I have gone on 3 hour hikes in freezing weather and did not feel a tinge of chill. It is so comfortable, I often find myself wearing it for hours on end indoors too. The fit is perfect too! I highly recommend this hat to anyone.

Typical Patagonia quality. It looks great and appears to be quite durable. I have a much older Patagonia cap that is similar and has lasted for several seasons.
Warm and fits under helmets
December 04, 2012
I have only had this for 2 weeks, but it is warm. I have used this is temps into the teens and up to 30s. Warm also when wet from sweat or rain. I have also worn this under a ski and climbing helmet with success. it is I would say on the snug fitting side, I have a 7 3/8 skull and it is snug but if like previous models will stretch a little bit. I hope this helps. and of course it is so far any ways usual patagonia quality.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Great value
