Patagonia Mediumweight Hiking Quarter Socks:
Our choice for fast-footed activities in the mountains. The felted footbed is chlorine-free and lasts the lifetime of the sock; it increases cushioning and durability for comfort on shifty terrain and sharp stone. Made from a fusion of ultra-versatile merino wool (also chlorine-free), soft, durable nylon and moisture-wicking polyester; together they insulate, pad the entire foot, and dry quickly. Motion-friendly details: a seamless Lintoe® for a chafe-free toe, and variable-knit construction under the foot and arch for airflow, moisture control and long-term cushion. Made in USA.
- Fabric provides the ideal balance of warmth, durability and wicking performance; Soft, plush merino wool is chlorine-free, itch-free and maintains durability and cushion for the lifetime of the sock
- Midweight is perfect for multifaceted use; Innovative, rib-cuff design is non-restrictive and prevents socks from sloughing into boots
- 100% felted merino wool footbed and up through shin maintains cushion and insulation; Yarn is chlorine-free for long term stability and performance
- Variable knit construction: loopy weave under toes and heel for cushion, grid pattern under the arch for breathability; Elastic, ravel-free welt is non-restrictive and prevents socks from sloughing into boots
- 3-layer knitted construction increases next-to-skin comfort, durability and adds a soft hand; nylon "sandwiched" in the middle is highly durable; Looped Lintoe® toe construction creates the smallest and flattest seam possible for ultimate toe comfort; it also minimizes waste in the knitting process
- Knitted-in moisture-wicking performance; Elastic arch band provides arch support and a snug fit; Shaft length extends to two inches above ankle bone
- 60% merino wool, 24% nylon, 13% polyester, 3% spandex with wicking performance
