Capilene base layers are satiny soft against the skin, and the Patagonia Men's Active Classic Boxers reign supreme. Choose from Patagonia's regular-length classic version (inseam, 4 5/8") for its streamlined styling, or the longer Boxers (inseam, 5 3/8") for relaxed waist, covered waistband and slimmer fit through the legs. Functional fly on both. Made in USA. Common Threads Recycling ProgramResearch shows that the environmental impact of recycling worn-out Capilene base layers into new polyester fiber is significantly lower than making that same fiber from virgin materials. Taking into account that worn-out garments are diverted from trash incinerators, making new polyester fiber from recycled garments results in an energy savings of 76% and a CO2 emissions [greenhouse gasses] reduction of 71%, versus creating that fiber from new raw material.Capilene® Core Performance® Capilene base layers afford quick-drying, next-to-skin moisture management for all activities in all conditions from high-altitude bivies to sun-soaked water sports.

These are the best around. I won't buy any other day to day boxer. These are extremely comfortable & last forever. Patagonia is also great with recycling products to make new. They are a great brand that supports the environment and it's consumer.

Don't take it in the shorts! Get these boxers and you will be well satisfied. The first ones I bought 5 years ago are still in great condition. I travel a lot so wanted something easy to care for but was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they were. So now These boxers are the only ones I buy and the price is offset by the longevity, ease of washing and drying, and superior comfort in hot or cold weather.

Seriously, the older I get, the more I realize it's better to spend more on the little things in life that affect you day-to-day. I always thought I was being smart buying less expensive socks and underwear, assuming that they're all the same. However, for the last several years, I've been buying all brands and styles seeking the "perfect" pair of boxers, and without complete satisfaction. That is, until I bought the Patagonias. They are superb; super comfortable regardless of the temperature, don't bunch up like so many others, and come in a lot of colors/designs. Not inexpensive, but then, definitely worth the price for the comfort.

These boxers and very comfortable whether you are wearing shorts, jeans or dress pants. True to form for Patagonia, they are also very durable. They dry quickly making them a great choice for traveling. The price is a little high so I buy them on sale whenever I can.

I own several pair of capilene boxers from patagonia that I think are terrific. When I found these on line, I naturally assumed these were also capilene. And when I received them, I was disappointed to find that they are a different material. Nonetheless, I found them to be totally adequate.

You can call it superstition but I really believe the material pattern evokes good spirits. Anyway, the waist band has integrity and the boxers hang from my waist with dignity and grace. I once said I would never pay this much for a pair of boxers that were not silk but these are worth it.

These are the most comfortable boxers I've ever worn. A little pricey yes, but worth every single penny. Sizing is very accurate. These are the perfect choice for everyday wear as well as many outdoor activities. They are super light, breathable and ultra comfortable. They dry super quick and are great for an active person.

I've become a huge fan of patagonia underwear over the years. These boxers are very comfortable and fit true to size. I wear a size 34 and ordered a medium and they fit perfectly. The elastic waist band isn't scratchy at all and will allow for extra lbs over the years as I put it on. Nice and smooth...very breathable.

These boxers are at least the most comfortable underwear I've over owned, if not the most comfortable piece of clothing I've ever owned. They feel like silk, are ultra light weight, and are very quick drying. I originally bought them for camping/hiking, but at only $15 a pop, I think I'll get a few more. The best part is Patagonia's environmentally friendly mind set. The packaging is minimal, their products are manufactured using the highest environmentally-friendly methods, and their gear is impeccable. I'd recommend to any one.

i wish they were shorter, but otherwise these Capilene boxer shorts are worth the $. they are lightweight, breathable, very comfortable, they dry very quickly--nothing compares to patagonia Capilene line, really. and the print on most is really great: i wish patagonia would make shirts using these prints!

Super nice. Very light, very breathable. I'm not a fan of boxers in general, but these are sweet. I'm ordering more. Good for a) chilling in b) backpacking in and c) chilling while backpacking. GREAT for warm weather. Don't know about the high intensity sport side of things. OUCH - Patagucci prices. Worth it? That's context dependent. For me: YES. Guess I'll skimp elsewhere for a while.

Discovered capilene boxers 2 years ago and will not buy anything else since. Selection and pricing at Altrec is much better than local outdoor stores. Unlike some apparel that must be tried for sizing, Patagonia waist sizing chart is accurate.

These are great boxers, but Patagonia stopped making the long boxers, which are good for me, because I am very tall with long legs. So, I would be happier with the long boxers.
