patagonia araveto jacket
July 11, 2011

I think that the jacket is very stylish and functional. It works great for me as a layering piece or just for a stroll down the sidewalks on a cool day. the fit seems average to me as with previous patagonia jackets it wears about a half size larger than others i,ve worn. I wear this jacket daily...

I have only had for a week or so. Great piece to put on after and early morning trail run or coming home from the gym. Light enough to take the chill off after a work out. I look forward to continue use. My wife wants one now!

Great Jacket
November 04, 2010

This jacket is great. It's a thinner fleece, but it works exactly for what I need it for: layering. It fits well and kept me warm on the trail. My only gripe is that I wish it had some water resistance. Otherwise, exactly what I expected.

Pros: Great design, Build quality

not what I expected
October 14, 2010

A too thin microfleece. I was expecting something thicker, but can find similar items for less. Being from Patagonia, I thought that it would be more than it was, but alas. The design of the hood is nice.

Great all around fleece insulator
September 08, 2010

I purchased the stonewash in size large. I'm about 5'10 170 and the large fits well, but I think the medium would be perfect, but its not that big of a deal. Nothing super special about this hoodie. It is very comfortable and I will enjoy wearing it around town when the temps drop. My only gripe - the hood is very deep and drapes over half my face if I don't position in just right. Its a bit annoying and I'm not sure I see the purpose of a big cut like that. All in all, cool piece of gear.
