Fits great. Nice colors. Good pockets. Perfect swimsuit. Dry fast. Comfortable for work outs. Like all Patagonia products, I get tired of an item before it wears out.

Bought this to go kayaking and canoeing in and it was all that I wanted. I haven't had it for very long yet but I have taken it kayaking and it seems more than up to the task. I would absolutely recommend.

Patagonia has been making Baggies for years...because they are simply the best all-wear summer shorts you can buy. In or out of the water, they are comfortable and look great. They dry incredibly quick and work on the beach, by the pool, in the gym, or out running errands. You can't go wrong with these.

These are some of the toughest shorts around! I have purchased many pairs and they seem to last forever. They are worn for everything from hiking,yard work, trail running and swimming and never seem to wear out. I highly recommend them!

Patagonia men's Baggies are still being made today because they seriously are the short that lasts the test of time. They are the only short that I will always pack with me, no matter where my travels take me. They are the short that you can wear in the river, on a run, or climbing all day. They dry quick, are durable, and have a great fit. Note though, the name of these shorts are "baggies," thus they do have a bit of a baggie fit. More the merrier. If you're looking for that one pair of shorts to always have ready, then you might want to get 4 or 5 of these. I've done just about everything in these shorts, and there are many more adventures to come where these shorts will be a key player.

This is my second pair of Baggies and I absolutely love them! I am 6'1" and wear about a 32 size waist and the medium size fits me perfect. They dry really quick with a liner that is soft, comfortable, and well made (unlike the hard stiff liners that come in most suits). The front pockets are really deep and keep things from falling out. I mainly use this suit on the lake and sometimes at the pool. Will definitely buy another pair!

I was very pleased to find that patagonia was still making these treasured shorts of my husband! (I can't tell you how long he has had his first 2 pairs) Delighted too, that this new purchase has the same high quality and coveted features like, fast drying light-weight fabric with deep side pockets and a convenient snapped back pocket that his original shorts had! Excellent shorts, comfortable in the ocean, on the trail. I could probably go on vacation with just these for weeks and weeks. I'm usually a size large, but a medium was the right size. I ran many miles in my old baggies and I'm happy to have new pair!

Love these shorts...just got a new pair and I wear them all them time - swimming, hiking, bike riding - or just out and about. Great do anything short that look and feel great. The mesh lining is much softer and more comfortable that other similar shorts. Will definitely buy another pair.

I have purchased 3 pair so far for my husband, keeps me in good favor as these are now his absolute favorite shorts for Texas summers. Very durable and fast drying. He swims, hikes, fishes, and goes just about every where in these shorts. Great for travel, as he is a bit of a minimalist so it helps that these short are good looking to boot.

Like most shorts this season, it is a tad shorter but it is fine. Excellent quality and durable. I will be wearing it as a swim trunk and on hikes. Items is highly recommended. Fits true to size.

Patagonia Baggie Shorts are great for both hiking and swimming. They are extremely durable, but breathe well while on hikes. Additionally they dry quickly after swimming making them ideal for swims during hikes.

I've been wearing Patagonia's Baggies Shorts for over 20 years. I "live in them" during the summer months. I have older pairs of Baggies with 5" inseams that I still use in the yard and around the house, but have been wearing the Baggies Longs with the 9" inseams the last several years for going "out in public", the beach, sea kayaking and snorkeling. The new 7" inseam of the current generation of Baggies is a great length that is perfect for me for any use and occasion. The comfort and ease of care are all still there and they continue to be my favorite shorts!

The Patagonia baggies are great shorts. New this year is the 7 inch inseam...which I think was a great idea. These are truly multi-use shorts. They will definitely not disappoint.

Comfortable all around short, washes and dries quickly: use it to bike, run and climb. I would like --- however --- that the internal mesh to provide more support. For certain sports underwear is required. RISK

I have been purchasing Patagonia Baggies since they started making them. THese shorts are perfect if you spend alot of time on the water and are looking for something simple without all the bells and whistles. The material is superb and the comfort is great. THese shorts are also very true to size. Baggies will always be a part of my day to day...

These are great shorts for running, hiking or swimming. They are lightweight, dry quickly and have three pockets to hold whatever you want to carry. If you want a lightweight short for outside activities these are for you.

I have friends who have owned these for a while, but I've never had any myself until a few weeks ago. I am thoroughly impressed with the comfort and quality, obviously by the scores I gave them. I have other Patagonia products that can vouch for the durability score, but since I've only had these for a few weeks, I held off on giving them a 5* for durability. Bottomline, Great Shorts!, buy them if you find them at a price you can afford.

These are a great pair of shorts for wearing to the pool. They were a little longer than expected and pretty baggy as the name suggests. The shorts are lightweight and dry quickly. I might purchase another pair.

Patagonia changed the style of these shorts this year. I bought some to try them out since baggies were my favorite shorts. After seeing how they ruined them, I sent back what I ordered back and will never buy baggies again unless they change back to the old style. The new style baggies are LONG - more like short pants. The fit, style and heavier fabric are inferior to the excellent baggies Patagonia has sold in previous years. Patagonia pretty much messed up everything that was good about these shorts. It seems foolish of Patagonia to stop selling the old shorts which were their best product, and to sell these inferior shorts using the same name. The should bring back the older version. I don't care what they do with this version.

I've been buying Patagonia products for 30 yrs, usually very happily. These new baggies are TOO baggy for me, including a too-large inner liner. A smaller size would have been too small in the waist. They should have left older designs alone.

These shorts are longer than the original baggies. I have sent them back to Altrec and still have not received a refund or a response from Altrec's customer service.

These are great, comfortable and well constructed. The colors are awesome and they last for a good, long time. I have many pairs of these shorts, from this year and years past, and think they are the best all-around shorts that you can find. They're great for swimming and hiking, or whatever else.

I just bought a pair of the new baggies, and I must say that they are great. I like the longer length, because it makes them better for everyday use, not just swimming and running. I do hope they keep making the classic baggies with the 5" inseam, because those are also awesome shorts in their own way. I have a pair of them as well.

Patagonia has been making baggies nearly forever..the classic cut, fun patterns and colors, and comfy mesh liner make them always my favorite short to wear. In the water, around the house or out on an adventure they are the very best!

I bought two pair of these for my husband and he LOVES them, (as I knew that he would). My sons have these shorts, as well. They have lived in them all summer...sailing, beach, pool. I can barely get them off to wash them. My husband was a bit envious, so when I saw them on the Altrec sale email, I scooped them up. The color is great, the styling is great, and the fit is great! You absolutely cannot beat Patagonia's quality, style, durability, and functionality! It is worth every penny.
