This jacket is very warm, and extremely well made. It is a great piece for those times when you kind of want a jacket that you can wear when you are slightly more dressed up... it will go well with slacks, nice jeans, over a collared shirt... for meetings and dinner. The inside pile is quite warm, the exterior is tight and looks great. However, I am 6'4, 200 lbs and I guess "athletic" (I probably am conisidered that but sometimes dont feel it!) ... and the cut of the jacket is a little to full for me. Too much room in the sleeves and too much room aroud the belly area. I wear an XL in this. It would be nice if it was a bit more of a tailored cut.

Very warm, cozy and comfortable. The fit is just right for what a medium should be; not too big and not too tight. Other Patagonia jackets I have are mediums but should be larges. Great jacket for fall or spring or layering. Hood is an added bonus.

This jacket is stylish, warm, and constructed well..I love this jacket so much that I bought three more of them..they go well with jeans and sneakers, with sweats, and with almost anything else..

I bought this Patagonia item for my boyfriend and he won't take it off. It's so comfortable, warm, and he loves the look of the jacket. The only minor problem is that he's noticed some pilling on the sleeve. I don't know if this is normal because he's only had it less than a month, but perhaps it's his fault for wearing it non-stop. Still, I would highly recommend the sweater!

This is exactly what I was looking for. The usual wonderful Patagonia design, style and utility. The "sweater" finish is less casual than normal fleece and looks as though it will hold up well

The Patagonia better sweater hoody is about as good as it gets for the price. Perfect for Fall/Winter in CA and other warm climates.

Patagonia did a great job with this one. Nice and soft, and plenty of room without being baggy. The hood makes this sweater stand apart. It makes this top perfect for hanging around camp on chilly fall evenings after a hike, and there are enough pockets to store all your campsite essentials. Even for urban dwellers, I highly recommend this one.
