Made to keep you cool, dry and moving freely during active pursuits, it has a 5.1-oz 84% polyester/16% spandex blend with Gladiodor® odor control and 50+ UPF sun protection. The fabric rests lightly on the skin, allows a cooling airflow, and wicks perspiration. Offset seams feel smooth under pack straps, and reflective logos on the chest and center-back add visibility to predawn runs.

Nice Addition to my Capilene Set

I actually bought this piece with the intention of using it exclusively as sleepwear. I wanted something to sleep in when camping... baselayers are easier and cheaper to wash than a down bag... just something to help keep the grime out of my bag. I needed a long sleeve that wouldn't add much warmth (my sleeping bag is already very warm for me). I'm about 6ft, 190lbs. Got a medium. The piece fits close to the skin as it should being a really stretchy baselayer. I liked the shirt so much that I stayed in it all day after crawling out of my bag in the morning. This piece will prove more functional than I originally planned and I'm glad I went ahead with the purchase. I'm hoping it lasts as long as some of my cap 3 that I still use from 10 years ago.

This shirt is the best piece of gear I bought in 2012. It's comfy, transfers moisture, and keeps me warm. Moreover it fits slim so it fits in the shoulders, and the area around the waist doesn't extend out a few feet.

Excellent Stretch Crew

I love the fit, feel and look of this crew. The stretch and wicking qualities of this crew are exceptionally functional, making it an excellent choice for any outdoor activity. Indoors, I wear the crew to the gym where the wicking feature is noticeable and appreciated when going directly home in the cold after a strenuous, sweaty workout. The odor control feature comes into play here :) In terms of the fit, the sleeves are long enough to compensate for movement while still properly covering my arms past the wrists. The length is equally well fitted to stay and keep body parts adequately covered. I have these crews in four colors and one short sleeve version. I will buy more when other colors become available!!
