Men's Duck Pants 4.7 5 55 55
Not what I expected While these pants fit well, the fabric is thin and not made for tough outside work (like splitting logs, etc.) as advertised. Also felt these pants were pretty expensive compared to other brands. January 18, 2012
Quality pants! These pants are a good version of your traditional khaki pants. Fit is trim but not too tight and they look good for work or play. I am 6'1" and always get the 34 long version. I have not bought a bad pair of Patagonia pants yet. Plus, they usually last a long time and the style is timeless. January 13, 2012
They seem more like dress pants like then rugged outdoor pants. The canvas material is not as thick as expected. But they will do for around town and yard work pants. December 22, 2011
Great pants I gave these to my husband when I caught them online on sale. He has a pair in a khaki color and loves them so I wanted to snatch these up. He loves these as well. You can dress them up or down. He loves the fit and says they are very comfortable. Can't go wrong at a good price on these. December 14, 2011
You will love these pants. I am trying to follow the advice of Yvon Chouinard to consume less but consume better. I feel good about buying these pants. I know they will last me years and years because of the classic styling, the durable materials and quality of construction. Plus, they are made from organic cotton so you can feel better about the impact this product has on the world around us. The cloth is sturdy but soft. The finishing details (seams, pocket stitching, etc.) are top notch. These pants remind me a lot of the quality, made in the USA clothes I was able to have as a kid. The picture of the model wearing these pants does the pants a disservice. They do not look so sloppy/slouchy in real life. Then again, the tape measure says I should wear a 34 and the 32 in this pants fits perfect. Maybe if i was wearing a 34 they would fit like the picture. So I would say they run a size or two large in the waist. Still, this is a quality pair of pants that will make you look good and feel good. I use mine for work, for casual wear on nights and weekends, and I even use them to do work around the house. They can take it all and after a quick wash they are ready to tackle the upcoming week. Consume less and consume better with the Patagonia Duck Pant. October 13, 2011
Duck Pants The pants are good quality and comfortable. I found that I needed a size larger than I would normally wear in jeans. The inseam is also a bit shorter than a similar inseam in jeans. Overall a great product--I will probably buy another pair. September 19, 2011
Men's Duck Pants Not having wored this style of pants before, I was really hoping I would have a pant that fit my legs and my just over 36 waist line at the same time. They met my expectations. The fit in the leg is relaxed yet stylish which makes them a great pair of pants for either working with work shoes of hitting the town with loafers. They move with my body while keeping the mature yet built look I work on, and at 6ft and 216lb that's not easy. They're great, you'll love them. Buy a pair. September 14, 2011
Great pants The Duck Pants are my favorite pants. The cotton feels great. The fit is a tiny bit large. This is my favorite pair of pants and I only had them a few weeks. I'm thinking about getting another pair in a different color. September 4, 2011
The best everyday work/living pants These pants are great. They are fancy enough for a casual office environment but relaxed enough for everyday living. They're organic cotton so you can feel good about helping the planet out just a little. Fit is a little loose, probably normal or relaxed. Weight is nice with being heavy enough for the cold but light enough for summer weather. Altrec didn't have the size I needed at first but provides a great service by allowing customers to sign up and be notified when the right size becomes available. June 2, 2011
Warmth and comfort A solid investment for staying dry, warm, and comfortable with these rain pants. Plenty of room to store extra cargo in pockets. Color matches good with other clothing colors. May 26, 2011
Not as good as they used to be I am a loyal Patagonia shopper. I have been buying Patagonia clothes for over 20 years, in particular, their Duck pants. I know these pants inside and out. And I can say over the last 5 years or so, I have seen a drop in quality. The pants I bought a year ago, have visible wear from washing. The 3 Pants I bought 3 years ago are frayed at the cuffs and the crotch has ripped open on all of them. SO don't think these are going to wear like the duck pants that built Patagonia's reputation, they are not. So why do I still recommend them? Well, to be honest I do not know that I can recommend them for you, but I can recommend them for me. I am a sucker for Patagonia and if you are a sucker for Patagonia too, you will like them, they still have a great cut, and they still are as comfortable as ever. Just know they are not as good as they used to be. For those that go forward with this purchase, also know these are a Patagonia's relaxed fit. So if you are a 40 buy a 38, etc. They are basically a one size larger in the waist, length is true to size. May 14, 2011
Great pants My husband loves these pants. They're perfect for the weekend but they can be dressed up as well. They did NOT fit like normal "relaxed fit" pants, but we were happy about that. Patagonia on sale - can't go wrong! May 12, 2011
Nice pair of pants Really like these pants. Super comfortable. Been wearing these for 6 months or so now and they're holding up well - standard patagonia quality. The material is a little lighter than the average denim. Fits a little looser than patagonia's outdoor-gear products. But for casual use, I'm real happy with these guys. May 1, 2011
Patagonia Duck Pants These pants are great. The size is pretty true, maybe just on the smaller size. These pants are of good quality as is most Patagonia products. They are light and seem to breath very well. Seems and stitching look top quality as well. Highly recommend these for running around town or outside work. April 26, 2011
Anywhere, anytime. These pants are durable in the outdoor conditions as you know. But, they stay sharp and looks clean enough in your office or your grandma's house. They are also the perfect pair of pants for long time travel. April 1, 2011
Great for everyday casual (for work) These pants are excellent quality. I would suggest they are a little on the short side, so if you are a little taller and a waist of 32", you might want to get the long rather than regular fit. March 28, 2011
great pant Great product from patagonia ,I have a whole closet full of their clothes, the pant soft material is smooth to the skin and fits great use it for work or outdoors March 17, 2011
Great fit, true to size, smart looking, very comfortable fabric. We have been very pleased with these products. I am looking forward to new styles. Typical Patagonia quality. February 3, 2011
The pants which it is easy to wear The pants fit very well and are extremely comfortable. The more I wear them the softer they get. Whether you are out hiking or are in a business casual environment these pants work. January 19, 2011
I wear them at work every day I really do like the pants. The big "however..." The original pants from a few years ago wer longer lasting with a more anatomical fit. I have an average athletic build and these pants fit a little snug in the seat. I found a size that works well. The original fit was better. The original material was heavier. The good thing about this new material is that it is perfect for year round use (fine in summer). December 30, 2010
great pants patagonia has changed the sizing recently - if you used to wear a 33 you need to order a 34 great everyday pants. December 7, 2010
great pants This is my third pair and are the most versatile pair of khakis I own. Be very, very, very careful if you try to dry them. My first pair dried on low and still became the yard pants...now I hang them to dry... November 29, 2010
These pants have turned out to be great for "business casual" wear. I have been wearing them for a month now and am extremely pleased with them. I purchased the corriander or british khaki color. The material is great for wearing to work (not to heavy) and there is no sign of the color fading yet. I am 5'11", 160 and the size 33 Regular fits perfectly. I just hope these last as long as the old version of Patagonia Duck pants. November 29, 2010
Great Pants These duck pants are awesome. They are extremely comfortable and durable. I recommend them for anyone. November 23, 2010
Quality Pants Not as heavy a material as the old duck pants, but none the less a quality product by a quality company. Fit is a little on the large side but not too baggy. November 12, 2010
I love the pants for hanging around the house or fly fishing with friends. Super comfortable. November 10, 2010
Great! Nice work pants, that you can be casual in to. September 13, 2010
As Tony the tiger says They're GRREEAT! These are the perfect balance between casual and sport type pants. These are my fourth and fifth pairs. Great pants. August 3, 2010
Not worth the $65 retail price Nothing special about these. The feel & the quality of these pants pants are on par with other brands you would find at department stores (Nautica, Hilfiger, etc..). I guess you pay a premium for organic & recyclable(?) July 22, 2010
pretty nice. I ordered these in my normal size and everything fits as expected. I was surprised at how light the material is, but that brings them into play for various reasons over some heavier pants. Casual look and feel, it doesn't seem like you're just wearing khakis... July 8, 2010
great fit!!! great fit, great pants...will be ordering more soon! July 8, 2010
Awesome pants - be sure to size right At 5'10" the "short" version work better for me, which I wasn't aware of with my first purchase, so I got em hemmed and even ordered a second pair. Durable, great fit, good look....exactly what you expect from Patagonia. June 28, 2010
Liked them so much I bought a couple more What needs to be said about Patagonia duck pants? Nothing that you don't already know. Great pants! Great quality! June 22, 2010
great! I purchased these for my son to replace a pair of the same pants, that he wore almost everyday and finally wore out! he really likes the new version! June 17, 2010
Great work pants! Love the new fit of the Patagonia Duck pants. Nice and relaxed but not too baggy. Lighter fabric looks good at work and will stay cool in the summer. Great Patagonia quality. Just wish they came in more colors. June 15, 2010
Duck Pants in Duck Country (U of O) Very comfortable and lightweight pants... well made. I have a pair of khaki and a pair of wildwood pants. I'm glad that Patagonia offers the short, 30" version. Even though I'm average height, a little over 5'9", I don't like my pant legs scraping on the ground. Another great Patagonia quality product made of sustainable material. May 30, 2010
Very Likeable Pant The new lighter weight fabric is a nice change. Seems like they'll be as durable as in the past. Nice neutral colors and good fit. May 23, 2010
This is what I expect from Patagonia I wear these around the office and when I golf. Great comfort and resiliency. Only recommendation to Patagonia is to see more color availability like charcoal grey, navy blue, even a nice white would be nice. May 20, 2010
Great pants for the office too These are a nice update on the original Patagonia Duck Pants. I like the lighter weight fabric which has a nice drape and is more breathable which makes these pants more useful year round. These pants have a good fit and when paired with a solid color Patagonia button down or polo shirt, you have nice organic casual office wear. April 21, 2010
Great! These pants are great. Perfectly manageable weight and relatively dry quick drying for cotton pants.Fit very well and extremely comfortable. March 31, 2010
Comfortable and Durable I travel and hike a lot, and have not found a pair of pants that are more comfortable and durable than my Patagonia Duck Pants. On long hikes they seem to stretch with your movements and maintain breath-ability on warm days. March 21, 2010
Quality pants These are nice-looking and fitting pants, great for work casual and generally all around. Surprisingly smooth finish. Lightweight, so will be comfortable in the heat. My waist is ~30.5" and the 30" size is just about right. Quality construction as is generally the norm with Patagonia. Washed once and did not really shrink or change fit, which is trim. March 13, 2010
I will be back for more! These pants are very well made. I really love the fabric and they look great on my husband! I will be ordering more soon. March 1, 2010
Best pant I have ever had Just bought pairs 4-9 as I like them that much. Ordered the same size as my current 3 pairs and these do fit a little tighter... In other words these are cut slightly tighter than the older versions which still fit great despite between one inch smaller in the waist February 15, 2010
Great pants Good fit, Looks good enough to wear to work, yet is comfortable enough for the weekends. May order another pair. February 5, 2010
Great pants for the office I love the new fabric in these pants. It is slightly lighter weight which makes these better for year round use (more breathable). The new fabric has a smoother dressier look to it and is very soft. The new fit of these is also great. They are just trim enough. Wear these with a Patagonia Pragmatist shirt and you will look great at the office as well as the trail. I'm buying more of these! February 4, 2010
duck pants Excellent material, soft cotton, durably woven; slightly thinner than previous pant. cut close around the waist and generously in the leg, fits well over winter boots. i wear them hiking and to work at a school. January 27, 2010
Great Pants These pants are comfortable and fit perfectly. I am glad that Patagonia started making "long" versions of the Duck Pants. I am getting ready to order another pair. January 21, 2010
So far so good I've only worn these pants once but they fit true to size and seem very well made. They are a little loose but not too baggy. The environmentally friendly aspect is great! January 6, 2010
Duck Pants review Great pants. I bought them because I need some business casual wear. If I have to wear business casual you can bet it's not going to be the Gap. These fit great and look great. Plus, they are Patagonia which fits with my standard of being mountain style in the office. October 8, 2009
Great material, great pants Soft, organic cotton, good fit, I wish they made them in gray and black. September 5, 2009
Great I love these pants. June 1, 2009
Great pants! Excellent pants! Perfect fit and very comfortable. I wear them to work on casual days and out on the town at nights. January 3, 2006
My pants of choice I would rather be wearing shorts but living in the Northeast means pulling on some long pants eventually. Patagonia's Duck Pants have been my favorite for years. They wear well and feel great. And seem to always look appropiate. It's no wonder they're hard to keep in stock. December 17, 2005
Thanks for the 30 in inseam I've been wearing the Patagonia Duck Pant for years and I've been paying a taylor to shorten the hem. It is about time Patagonia started selling the pant with a 30 in inseam. I'll keep buying them. They are comfortable and wear like iron. November 29, 2005
