Nice Pants
The pants are durable and comfortable. They are great for travel. They dry fast and have lots of pockets for storage. Highly recommended. I am 6'1 and bought a L size.

Great casual trousers
Great casual, "hack-around" trousers. Light, comfortable material, good pockets -- not overdone with bulky cargo pockets or extra pocket on rear. Regular fit is about right; not too baggy like a typical Relaxed Fit trousers. Only problem is length -- I have a 33 inch waist and use a 32 inch inseam in jeans and other trousers, but the Gi II Medium is about one half inch too short.

Very comfortable. Great for warm hiking days. Fast drying after our river hike in Zion. I also wear it for long intercontinental travels. Will most likely purchase another one in a different colour.

Excellent
It's hard to do better than these pants. They are lightweight, quick drying and do not constrict. The styling is clean. The improved buckle makes them easier to adjust.

Great Travel Pants
I took my GII's on my European vacation and wore them everyday. They wash easily and dry quickly so that you don't have to take as much gear. I would recommend these pants highly. Another great Patagonia product!

Nice pants
I just went on a two-week tour of the UK and wore these pants pretty much throughout my travels. They are very comfortable and light. They're also sized so that you can wear them over a pair of shorts in a pinch. Overall, I have been very sastisfied with Patagonia gear. This is yet another example.

Great Light Weight Pant
I bought these pants for bone fishing in the bahamas. I wanted something light weight and breathable and that they are. I love the elastic waist and built in belt. Buy 'em!

lightweight, durable material. Fits true to size- large fits a 35 waist. should be great on flights and summer hiking.

Patagonia GI II Pants
Great pants for the weekend, camping, hiking, etc. I wear these and a couple others I have all of the time. The comfort level is max and they look fine for most casual activities. Nice and lightweight and gusseted crotch for wide range of activites. Do yourself a favor and get a pair.

nice pants
I have only used these pants a couple of times, but so far so good, they are durable, very light for packing, and comfortable, I also really like the built in belt.
Also when you zip off the legs, the shorts are long enough that you don't feel like you are wearing basketball shorts from the 1970's.
I'm going to order another pair or two.

great comfort and look
I have purchased multiple pairs of these pants by Patagonia. I love them because they are a great fit, lightweight, and can easily be worn as a casual pant. Good purchase.

Simple and practical
The best non-zip-off travel/casual pants around. Multiple big pockets for wallets or iPhones. Belt cinches tight and fit is slightly loose for comfort. These pants dry quickly and are easily washed in a hotel sink or in a river and will be dry by morning. Highly recommend!

great hiking pants
I just went hiking in the Pecos Wilderness with these pants. They were cool in the summer heat and fast drying after crossing the creek. The terrain varied greatly and at no point did these pants restrict my movement. I have a 32.5 in. waist and a 32 in. inseam and the medium size fits perfectly.

Fantastic Fit! and unbelievably comfortable
I found these pants to be by far, the most comfortable for everything I do. From mountain biking, hiking, to fishing. I love them! Ordered my 3rd pair.

Very comfortable pants. Very good service
Pants very comfortable for around the house and at the gym. Loose enough for free movement and light enough to be cool. Slightly too long for me but easily solved by adding an elastic cord in the pant cuff. The cuff already had a slot for the cord. Plan to get another pair soon. Delivery was very quick just as advertised.

PERFECT
I had a pair in another color and wanted a 2nd pair. Great for lounging or casual wear. received them within 3 days of ordering.

versatile
versatile and stylish as all patagonia gear. i have last season's and wanted another pair in tar. it seems that the medium this year is cut with more room throughout, so you may need to size down. if you are like me: not quite with the small and too big for the medium, you may need to compromise since these pants are terrific. light, comfortable, compressible, breathable, and great looking.

Ideal for Workouts
Many of the top fitness gurus wear the Patagonia Gi IIs during seminars, workshops etc and they looked mighty comfortable and mobile in them, and of course very cool. So I decided to get me a pair and boy, though it is very fine in texture, it had a great feel to it. I love them absolutely and wear them during workouts and even to my office sometimes. Gives one the rugged yet casual and relaxed feel.

Highly recommended.
My first purchase of Gi 11 pants and it won't be the last. Very light weight. Packapable in a suitcase where it takes up almost no space. Comfortable enough to wear on long flights. In a hike thru a lot of underbrush, the material did not scratch, or rip. These are a great all around pants.

Lightweight Comfortable
I wore a pair of these for just about every day for a 2 1/2 year trip around the world. I finally pitched them during the middle of an Appalachian Trail thru-hike. They were immediately replaced when I finished. They are almost perfect travel/hiking pants as they are light, comfortable in a wide range of climates, and dry very quickly. The low, zippered pocket is a good place to stash a wallet. One minor fault is that the back zippered pocket isn't very useful. I much prefer the large, side enty back pockets that Mountain Hardwear uses on their hiking pants. The Gi II is great though and can be worn around town without attracting notice.

Nice pants!
Very nice quality, a litle thinner material than I expected, but they are sturdy and drape well. I did find the small, med, large sizing too limited. With the med, I had to have the pants hemmed because they were too long (I have a 30" waist and a 30" inseam). This means that I can now no longer use the eyelets and channel around the cuffs to run a cord and tie-off the pant legs. Overall I am very satisfied and I would buy another pair in a different color.

Great pants!
Great pants for hiking and traveling. These pants are comfortable for hiking. They fit well, are lightweight, and pack small. All in all, a good purchase.

These are great pants. They're comfortable, somewhat baggy, and have deep pockets

The best travel pants!
I bought four pairs of these pants for a two week vacation in Italy. They were wonderful on that trip! They are as comfortable as sweat pants, and yet are extremely functional, taking up very little room in the backpack. The zippered rear and side pockets provided plenty of security for my wallet and passport, and I never lost a thing out of the change-safe front pockets. These pants dried almost immediately after washing, which was great while travelling. As for style, they look like a pair of chinos; just cover up the web belt with a loose shirt and you're ready for any restaurant. Even the cargo pockets are in fashion. My only nitpick is that the web belt is slightly too short for easily taking on and off the pants, though this problem was fixed with the newer, Khaki color. The bottom line is that they are great travel pants and a steal at $45.97! Pair them up a Patagonia Go-T shirt and you're good to go for anywhere.
