Great Jacket
Bought this for my husband as a gift so I cannot attest to how it fits him yet, but I love the way it looks and feels. The outside looks like it will block wind and some rain. The inside is lined with a thin layer of microfleece (NICE!!!)
This is to be his "clean cut--not too puffy or campy looking travel jacket that can fold up and stow away easily". I expect he will wear it all the time....but that is the description that prompted me to look for a jacket of this style. He didn't want to take his down sweater jacket on a work trip because it looked too "puffy" and like he was going "camping". When I showed him a picture of this he said it was perfect and exactly what he wanted without knowing exactly what that would look like! Ha ha!

Great Fall Coat
This coat is great--the XL fit my friend who is 6'5'' 210 lbs perfect. coat is great for fall and early winter and not bulky at all! I love patagonia and this color is a good change from the basic black jacket. I'd recommend to anyone looking for that October/November New England weather. If you layer this with something warm underneath can probably go through some winter days as well.

I am 6'7 and the arm length was closer to 36inches rather than 37 inches. Most Patagonia XL jackets fit me great except this one. It is a great jacket. Very Comfortable just arms are a little too short.

Great Jacket
Bought this jacket for my husband as a Christmas gift. He was looking for a soft shell jacket that could be worn in the winter, but also double as a spring ski jacket. This is exactly what he was looking for. Fits great and the sleeves are not too long like in other Patagonia products. Highly recommend.

Great shell for mild winter days
I was looking for a lightweight outer layer for moderately cold days (30F-50F). This jacket fits the bill perfectly. The fit is roomy, but not too loose (I'm 6' 190lbs and bought a Large). The sleeves are a bit long, but not bothersome, and the wrists can be cinched if desired. I wear this over a lightweight R4 fleece for the colder end of the range, and alone for the warmer end. I will mostly wear this around town, but could see myself using it for skiing if I need something light. It does not seem like it would be as warm as my fully waterproof hardshell for skiing in cold conditions, but I have not fully tested it yet. One wish: a drawstring around the waist. The bottom is a bit loose for my taste, but not a deal-breaker. Also considered the Guide Jacket, but ultimately settled on this one due to a bit more warmth, and slightly longer, looser fit.

Great jacket!
This is my first Patagonia jacket and I absolutely love it. The fit is awesome. It says "regular fit" but more on the fitted/modern side, especially if you size down one like I did - I am 6'0", 150lbs, and the extra small fits perfectly. Warm for 30+ degree weather, anything below you may be a little chilly. The inside of the jacket has a nice, soft polyester/microfleece inner lining. The outside has a great water-repellent softshell material. Overall, I would recommend this jacket for fall/early winter weather. For colder weather, you may need another layer.
