Description

Blending the benefits of two technical fleece fabrics, the Men's Los Lobos Jacket from Patagonia gives you the warmth and moisture-wicking performance to take your inspirations to a new level. A fluffy 100% polyester high-pile fleece in the torso and hood traps needed heat while letting out excess moisture, as its sleeves, shoulders and side panels give Polartec® Power Dry® mobility. Two zippered handwarmer pockets secure a phone or keys, while a pocket on the left sleeve holds chapstick and ditties. With cold-weather front zip to-the- chin protection, the Los Lobos Jacket is recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Specifications

  • Body and hood: 8.6-oz 100% polyester high-pile fleece
  • Shoulders, sleeves and side panels: Polartec® Power Dry® 94% polyester (53% recycled)/6% spandex
  • Easy access zippered left arm bicep pocket
  • Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program

Excellent All Purpose Jacket
March 30, 2011

I have been waiting to get the Los Lobos Jacket for a year now and I have to say I waited too long. This jacket is stylish, warm, and fits well. The feel of the fleece is super soft and does not attract hair or other items to stick to it. The sleeves are form fitting and have a great range of motion. Overall excellent jacket from an excellent company. It is my new go to jacket for all outages, formal or not.

Great threads.

I love this jacket and get a lot of comments around town. I am sad to see it going out of the stock system. Hopefully Patagonia will replace it with something similar in style and comfort. Hurry and get yours. For the details; the Los Lobos is a style garment. It is not meant for hard use like many of the Patagonia line. It does excel as a street jacket though. It is built with some great features like the hood that fits snug to the head. When you zip it up the hood closure will not allow wind into the head area. With a little wind you can feel it through the sleeves the most. It does keep the core very comfortable with the fleece in the body of the jacket. I pair it with a light weight Patagonia windbreaker underneath. This is somewhat backwards as the hardshell should be on the outside but it worked very well with temps down to low 20's. The windbreaker fit very snug so it would fit over it. Great jacket. Buy one before they go away. Oh yeah. Altrec needs to lower the price because Patagonia has it on their Web Specials for $40 cheaper.

I love this Jacket!

My wife gave me this jacket for my birthday a few days ago and I've worn it almost every day since. I live in San Francisco, so this is perfect for the cold foggy summer. It's a great sweater replacement... but much more comfortable and stylish. The hood is my favorite part. The fuzzy fleece is very cozy. The smooth & stretchy sleeve material is a nice contrast to the fuzzy fleece, too.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, very comfortable

Interesting jacket
January 12, 2013

I like this jacket a lot. Got it at a great price, so there is absolutely no complaints here. I ordered an XL. I would say that it is pretty accurate. I am 6 foot 250 pounds with athletic build. My wide shoulders and long arms cause some problems with fit sometimes, but I was able to fit in this surprisingly. The only thing that I did not realize about this jacket is the sleeves are made of a very thin material and also a little snug( Popeye arms). Anyway, this type of jacket is easy to layer with an outer shell because of the sleeve material. Good looking, interesting jacket.

Good, but for a few dollars more

The breathability concept of the jacket is great. However, when you sit down the jacket bunches up on you, whereas my Patagonia R3 does not. Hence, this doesn't compare to the R3 or R4 by any stretch of the imagination. I'd be inclined to pay a little more for the R3 or just purchase a mid-layer shirt.

Great Value
November 28, 2012

This jacket arrived promptly and is the same great quality you would expect from Patagonia. It is extremely soft and I love the style. The color also pleasantly surprised me in person. It definitely keeps you warm, but isn't extremely thick so would likely require a shell in windy or freezing conditions. I actually like that it is thin and the hooded style because it can be used either as a jacket or more of a casual sweatshirt type thing.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: somewhat thin

Men's Los Lobos Jacket
January 16, 2012

The men's Los Lobos Jacket has a premium/athletic fit. I love this jacket & use any chance I can. This jacket is perfect for hiking in the fall season & even using as a layering jacket for the winter season. The comfort is outstanding. I also use this jacket as a sweatshirt, b/c of it's lightweight. FYI....you will receive many compliments! I am 5'10 & 185pounds w/ an athletic build & the large was perfect.

Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use
