The livable Men's Merino 1/4-Zip Sweater from Patagonia has a finely knit look and an easy-wear feel, with flexible rib-knit panels under the sleeves and over the shoulders to accentuate mobility. Inherently soft and comfortable, the 12-gauge 100% merino wool naturally resists odor, regulates body temperature, and stretches. Super comfortable worn on its own in warmer conditions or beneath a shell in cooler ones. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Great light sweater for many uses

I know have two of these sweaters. They are good for backpacking, plan old layering, and even with a colored t-shirt for casual day at work. Shipping from Altrec was perfect, as usual!

This is a fixture in my weekend wardrobe, and during the week when I can. Warm on it's own, the zip up neck makes it perfect with a shell or my favorite fleece lined sweatshirt from another purveyor of fine outdoor gear. A tad pricey but in a cost per wear equation, hard to beat

Nice enough to wear to work, cool enough to wear out, warm enough to keep you in the comfort zone. As usual Patagonia provides a quality functional product. I expect to wear this for many spring and falls to come.

This sweater (as well as most Patagonia garments) fits my athletic build quite well. The material is soft, seems to resist piling, and is warm while still being attractive. I can wear it to the office, dress it down with jeans and a T, or wear it over a collared shirt with khakis and get a more dressed up look. It's versatility and wool's ability to resist travel stink will make it ideal for traveling. It's not cheap, but it will likely last much longer than cheaper alternatives.
