Description

It's standing room only on the bus to Chiquian, with miles of blind, nerve-wracking hairpin turns. Keep your cool in the lightweight, breathable Men's Merino 2 Lightweight T-Shirt from Patagonia made from Merino 2, our most versatile Merino baselayer. It keeps you dry and comfortable during active pursuits in cool to cold conditions, breathes naturally, stretches, regulates body temperature, and has a great warmth-to-weight ratio. It's wonderfully soft and naturally resists odor. Patagonia's wool comes from non-mulesed Australian Merino sheep. It's slow-washed for softness and shrink-resistance without the use of environmentally harmful chlorine, and blend it with 20% polyester (100% recycled) for increased durability, resilience and moisture-management. The raglan-sleeve design and offset side seams lie smoothly beneath pack straps. Machine-wash cold; machine dry at low temperatures. bluesign®-approved fabric.

Slim fit
March 23, 2012

Bought it for the hubby for training runs, and he loves it. It is a slim fitting shirt, so beware. Fabric is not as soft as the 100% wool shirts such as Icebreaker and Ibex, due to the added synthetics. But hopefully it'll improve the durability. Hubby says he'll still wear it in the heat for running, although it doesn't feel as lightweight as some of the almost weightless synthetic shirts. Recommended.

very warm short sleeves T-shirt
February 18, 2012

Wow, this T-shirt is warm !!! I can wear it with a shell and don't feel cold at all when it's 40+ outside that I usually need a T-shirt+fleece sweater+shell. It is even a bit hot for me to wear it alone in office w/ building's heater on. The only down side, as common to all Patagonia, is the price. It is quite expensive if not on sale.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Cons: Cost
