This is a great shirt - my son loves it. I must say that the color swatches online do not closely resemble the actual color of the fabric. Even so, it looks awesome. Don't know about durability yet, since it's new, but hemp ropes last forever don't they?Pros: Great design, feels good, Cons: Cost
Stylish and comfortable!

This shirt is light and comfortable, and looks great, especially in grey. The fit is relatively true to standard size (ie. not super fitted). I like especially that it's not too long.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Cons: Cost

I bought 4 of these Migration shirts, of course, in different colors. The rest of my summer wardrobe basically consists of theses shirts. People compliment me regularly on the fabric and buttons. Also, some people are saying the material is thick/unbreathable, but after a few washes the true feel and breathability of the hemp Patagonia uses reveals itself. I look forward to growing into and wearing the heck out of this shirt.Pros: Great design, people compliment regularly

How do they do it? I own two of these shirts and feel happy all day long when I wear one. The fit and cut are spot on, and the material is perfect for summer or for layering on cool evenings.

One of my favorite shirts along with Patagonia's A/C Yarn (also highly highly recommended). Nice material...thinner, softer and airier compared to a few years ago. Fit is a little looser than the A/C but would stick with the same size. More colors please.

Liked it so much I bought a second shirt in a different pattern. Another example of high quality construction from Patagonia. While the hemp/cotton blend feels substantial, it breathes nicely and remains comfortable. Note that this material softens with washing. If you are looking for a nice shirt to bridge wearing during the day into a night out - this may be the one
Way cool, high, quality- soft and substantial!

Really great casual shirt great fabric hemp or not. Hemp makes it comfortable no matter what the temp. Do they make this in a long sleeve? I'm buying another!

I bought this as a gift, and the shirt got rave reviews. The hemp material is great.

It's made out of hemp, the worlds greatest plant. It's warm, fast drying, comfortable and sustainable. If you could only do one thing for the earth as your part in achieving sustainability, buying products made with hemp as an alternative to traditional materials would be an effective and enjoyable way to go.

I bought this for my brother to give to him for his birthday. He likes the softness of the shirt and says it looks great with jeans.

Nice shirt. Fabric is a little on the rough side, but that's to be expected with hemp/cotton. A few washings and it settles right out. I'm 6'0" tall and 205 lbs and the shirt is a little tight through the shoulders and chest. Nice shirt put I prefer the A / C shirt or the Fezzman for my go to's.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever
Patagonia! ~ great shirts, as always

Solid quality and well built! This shirt will last for years...I have a handful of Patagonia shirts like this one and they are durable. They get softer over time, but it will not get "thread-bare". You can't go wrong with HEMP! Enjoy!
typical Patagonia comfort and quality

A cool and comfortable summer shirt that looks great with shorts and jeans. It's about half cotton, half hemp. The hemp gives the fabric weave an open feel to it that seems to help it breathe. I think it fits "true to size" in a Large for me, but like other Patagonia wear it's a a relatively slimmer athletic fit than some brands.Pros: Build quality
Not really a "summerweight"
May 22, 2011
If you have been in the very hot weather, one may argue that this shirt does not fit in the hot summer shirt category. I feel this shirt weight is much too heavy for a hot weather shirt. Just putting it on a semi hot day made me heat-up in this shirt. You can call most another Patagonia shirts as summer shirt but this shirt is much to heavy and thick to be considered as a hot summer shirt. Also the colors did not suggest a hot weather. The bottom line is it's much too heavy of a shirt to be worn in hot Summer. Ok I will agree that this shirt is durable as heck by the weight of it.
