Some runs are pure ecstasy, some an extreme suffer fest. Patagonia made the Men's Powder Bowl Pants for the full ride. These ski / snowboard pants have a rugged 2-layer polyester shell that's bonded to a Gore-Tex® membrane using Gore-Tex® Performance Shell technology for the highest level of waterproof/breathable performance available. A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish keeps you from getting soaked when you're being a crash test dummy, and increases abrasion-resistance when you're bonking pinecones in the side country. Inside, a brushed tricot lining manages moisture and glides smoothly over under layers. External thigh vents let you regulate your climate on the uptracks and articulated knees and a gusseted crotch provide unlimited mobility for big air shows. Other features include coated, watertight Slim Zips for reduced bulk, gaiters with tenacious gripper elastic and burly scuff guards to protect the hem from ski edges and postholing abuse.

Powder Bowl
December 27, 2012

These pants are great! if I had to pick something apart, maybe the waist sizing. Im a 34" and the medium is a bit tight, tried the large and way to big eveywhere. Even with the adjustable waist tabs. Material bunches up to much and the leg girth and length also big. Almost like going to an XL..Not to worry, added an extra set of snaps, now they are perfect! Altrec is great at delivering!!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: waist fit

Great Ski Pant
January 25, 2012

My second pair of Patagonia and they just keep getting better, more comfortable, warm. Great sealed zippers, lots of pockets. The liner smooth and moves with your body. These pants fit large so size down. Highly recommended.

Is very tough
January 30, 2012

Is very tough but very supple pants can be worn every day. There are sturdy tree stand years of hard skiing. Is ideal for backcountry wear, it is recommended to seek the light if Primo pants.

Pros: Great design, Cons: heavy weight

Great skiing pant. Fits to size.
November 28, 2010

Great pant, typical Patagonia in terms of quality and well-thought out extras like thicker lining around bum and front. 2 words of advice: 1) these are a ski pant, not a backcountry pant given 2.5 ply lining and weight and 2) as for length, I'm 6'2" and can wear the regular length for XL pant (I ordered both regular and long, the long are going back). Enjoy!.

Great Powder bowl pants
January 31, 2012

Great pants for boarding. Tough, warm (with just an average thermal), stops wind. Sitting on snow is no problem - no water will leak through. Well worth the money.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value
