Versatile enough to wear alone in the fall or with layers come winter, our R1® Flash works as a do-everything technical pullover. Its high/low interior grid fabric stretches, breathes, moves moisture, and insulates - on the trail or off the ground. Sized for next-to-skin performance, it's still roomy enough to accommodate a thin baselayer. Low-grid polyester stretch panels under the arms and at the wrist and hem decrease bulk and increase breathability. To further reduce bulk, the elastic cuffs and the brushed-mesh chest pocket (now on the inside) are glued in. Made in USA. Regulator® SystemRegulator is an integrated system (base, insulation, shell) that works in unison to keep you dryer and more comfortable over a wider range of conditions than a traditional waterproof layering system.

• Lightweight yarns wick moisture away from skin; outer, high-surface-area microfiber yarns speed evaporation
• Fabric's interior grid structure enhances compressibility and allows greater airflow; Jersey microfiber face for low-friction, non-binding layering
• Offset (to the right) front zipper for chin comfort; chin flap is made from a continuous piece of R1® that lines the whole neck
• Brushed polyester mesh chest pocket (no longer external) with glued-in, reverse coil zipper
• Lightweight, low-grid polyester stretch panels under the arms increases breathability, moisture transport and mobility
• Additional low-grid polyester stretch panels at the wrist and along bottom hem reduces bulk for harness compatibility; Cuffs have glued-in elastic for reduced bulk
