Description

Through cloudburst to sudden Chinook wind, the Patagonia Rain Shadow Jacket - Men's keeps your travel days inside-dry during all weather conditions with its fully seam-sealed waterproof/breathable protection. Designed in packable, lightweight and tear-resistant 100% nylon fabric with a waterproof/breathable H2No® barrier and a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish, this hooded shell jacket features a raised inside pattern to diffuse and channel moisture away from skin, aid in hassle-free layering, and enhances durability. Its hood that is roll-down, 2-way-adjustable, and helmet-compatible hood is complemented with a 2-way center-front zipper, self-fabric cuff tabs and a drawcord hem. Updated, the Rain Shadow sports microfleece lining on the neck and chin, waterproof handwarmer pockets (no longer mesh-lined) with zipper garages, and external zippers that are now water-resistant (without storm flaps).

Men's Rain Shadow Jacket 4.9 5 18 18
Great protection Very comfortable and great protection from wind and rain. Very light weight. More comfortable than the torrentshell. Zippers are a little harder to move than the torrentshell though. Much more breathable than the Marmot Precip jacket November 21, 2011
Excellent purchase Very comfortable and light weight for hiking and biking. Also can be used for other outings. It is a favorite to have very better feeling of fitting than other rainwears. I am glad that I am usable in all seasons. November 16, 2011
Great Jacket As Usual From Patagonia I just got this jacket and am impressed by overall build quality and color selection. Comparable to the Arc'teryx Paclite Goretex jackets I have, at a lower price to boot. Great performance so far in Northeast rain storms. October 3, 2011
Rainshadow Jacket Rocks! Best rain jacket I've ever owned. Extremely waterproof and windproof. Just a caution about sizing. I usually wear a MED for other jackets but with Patagonia, I take a SM size. I'm about 5'8 and 155 lbs and medium build. Small size is perfect with room to spare for layering. Also note, that the sleeves will be a bit longer in this jacket even if everything else fits to perfection. Afterall, this jacket was developed by a climber. Very confortable and the cut is superb compared to many other rain jackets. Gore Tex it's not ,but the H2NO is much softer and I rather have this over Gore Tex. Bali Blue Rocks....I liked it so much , I bought a Black one too. Either way, you won't be disappointed with this jacket. Price is very good compared to other similar quality rain jackets. I bought this jacket for my boyfriend. He had recently lost a rain jacket that he loved and was looking for a replacement that was as good as the last one. He loves the jacket, says the quality is great and should last him a lifetime. April 13, 2011
Can wear it all the time This Jacket is awesome. This jacket can seamlessly go between rain to sun, hot to cold and keep him comfortable all the time. It keeps him dry or warm without overheating. Great quality too!! April 8, 2011
Good Choice (25% off is a plus... YES!) I don't know why Patagonia doesn't offer too many jackets with a 2 way front zipper. I need a rain jacket and I got myself a high quality one with cool Gecko green color as well + waterproof front-zipper. The sleeves are a little loose therefore I can wear my TNF Delani under it and I still feel comfortable moving around. If I wear it by itself as a rain jacket, I like it loose anyway. In the last 3 days, I tested this jacket in snow, rain and sunny (Michigan weather for you). I couldn't tell the different between this jacket and my Gore-Tex shell jacket! The only complaint is that in the sun, it has the light smell of nylon odor to it. When I travel to the tropical vacation spot. I will take this jacket instead of my Gore-Tex shell jacket. April 2, 2011
Rain Protection I've come to expect great durability, functionality, and style from Patagonia. This jacket fully met all my expectations. The construction is flawless and it works perfectly as advertised. Great rain protection and sized to permit some layering for protection from the cold. October 17, 2010
Perfect jacket It is a perfect jacket the arrangement of color, the functionality, gracefully, and all. I am praised by the friend. And, it will put on this jacket in the future. September 13, 2010
colorful outdoor jacket cool colorful jacket. I love the water proof fastener. August 17, 2010
It was awesome Nice fit and worked very well in wet weather March 3, 2010
good jacket I'm 6'4" got the size large and it was a bit short, other than that it is a great jacket. January 18, 2010
Patagonia Men's Rain Shadow Jacket i am 6ft 4 and this was a bit short i got the size L January 18, 2010
Men's Rain Shadow Jacket i got a size L.i am 6.4 but it fit a bit short in the back January 18, 2010
Very good jacket I really like this jacket its well made and highly effective. Useful in the city and also on the trail. December 7, 2009
Great product The jacket is light, waterproof, and packable - exactly what I need when I go camping or hiking. It is also great for regular use in Florida where it rains a lot! October 27, 2009
awesome! This jacket is super lightweight. The blue is also better in person than in the pictures. Patagonia nailed it! August 14, 2009
Rain Jacket The jacket is light and very useful here in the city. July 31, 2009
