Great Fleece Jacket

This is a great "go to" jacket for a variety of weather conditions. Works well over a t-shirt in autumn and functions well over heavier apparel in colder, winter weather. If you have a long sleeved shirt underneath - it does an excellent job of keeping out deflecting cold wind gusts. Like most outerwear products from Patagonia, it is extremely versatile and can act as an underlayer or outerlayer depending on the circumstances. Not to take away from Columbia, but I would grab the Synchilla jacket anyday over any of my Columbia Fleece jackets. The extra money you'll spend on this fleece jacket over others is well worth it when you consider the longevity and the quality of the Synchilla. Great choice indeed!

Bought my husband this jacket for his Birthday because he had lost his favorite Patagonia Synchilla Jacket that he had owned for 15 years. Unfortunately this jacket didn't fit the same as his old one. Had to send it back because the sleeves were too tight!

Fits true to size, very comfortable. Not very warm or wind protective, would work as a layer under a jacket in cold weather. Ideal coat for temps 50-30.......really like the chest pocket.

it's pretty basic, not windproof but- it has good, convenient pockets and mine has held up well for 4 years. is it good? i'm going to buy another one. i have a 41" chest 34.5" arms and the med works.
