The ideal polo
April 18, 2010
If I must wear a collar, THIS is the way I like to. So much better than the pique or traditional boring cotton polos. This thing looks great, fits great, and is very comfortable. Great fabric. Not cheap, but hopefully it'll last a long time. I'll be buying at least one more.

Patagonia Men's Stretch Polo is an A+

The stretch polo is great for any outdoor activity. Much more durable and thick than I expected. This doesn't make it hotter or more uncomfortable, just sturdier. Wicks well when biking or running. Only negative is it needs to be washed often as it retains body odor. Only way to avoid that is go merino which triples price. Fit is accurate.

stretchy fabric is pretty cool-as in looks & feel. been too cold here to wear it yet. I'm a 42 chest/34 waist & the large is about perfect. put it this way, i bought another one.
Like it.

I really like the patagonia shirt i purchased from altrec.com. I should have gotten a L instead of a M as I'm kind of in between (6'0" 170 lbs). My thinking usually is if its 100% cotton i go with the L and if it's something i know won't shrink i try the M. I don't like when the sleeves come to the bend of my elbow or the tail comes down too long to have the option to wear untucked. Having said all that, I should have gone with the L here as it seems kind of a slim cut. The shirt is great though, and I still wear it occasionally, and like the look.

I just got this, I am a 32 waist and the medium fits perfect. Great for the gym. Material is recycled but seems of good quality.
Stylish polo shirt

I like polo shirts for summer but hate the 100% cotton polos that you see men wearing at work. I'm always searching for the polos that have some spandex for stretch are are for a slim, athletic build. The Patagonia stretch polo is perfect! I'm 5'9 and 145 lbs with an athletic build. The small size fit perfectly. If you shop for slim or athletic fit clothing than this is perfect for you. I like the contrast stitching and unusual colors. The white is an off white, creek color.

This is a very stylish polo shirt with an athletic look. I wear this out on the town in a casual environment. If you hang it up straight out of the dryer you will have a wrinkle free shirt. Even when I travel and fold it up, it comes out almost wrinkle free. I would recommend this shirt for more casual use rather than athletic/sport use based on the style...hopefully patagonia comes out with more colors because I will be them. I bought a M but think a S would fit me just as well.
