Description

Get it accomplished in the versatile Men's Tasker Jacket from Patagonia. Light, soft and weather-resistant, the Tasker has an all-recycled durable polyester shell with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to shed moisture, wind and prevent saturation. A compressible layer of 60-g Thermogreen® insulation (90% recycled) traps body heat in cold temperatures, dries quickly and stays warm even when wet; a quilted liner glides smoothly over layers. The stand-up collar and a wind flap along the full-length zipper increase wind-blocking performance. Pockets include two microfleece-lined handwarmers and a zippered chest pocket (also lined). With a straight hem and hip length.

Nice jacket, except sleeves are too long
December 27, 2011

This jacket would be perfect if it weren't for the extremely long sleeves. Unless you have really long arms and a disproportionate body, I do not recommend buying this jacket. The jacket is very warm due to its insulation and slides on easily if you're wearing a long-sleeved shirt or a sweater. All the features are just right, except for the sleeve length.

Perfect for Shop Work
February 07, 2012

The Patagonia Tasker Jacket is perfect for working in a minimally heated woodworking shop environment. It is not bulky or restrictive but very warm. The wind resistant/ water resistant quality keep you comfortable even when going outside the shop for accepting lumber deliveres, etc. I plan to order another tasker jacket to keep for the future since I can never find the perfect jacket again when the old one wears out. Thanks, Altrec, for supplying this product. Delivery was speedy and exactly on the day they said it would be.

Bang for the buck
September 19, 2012

This Patagonia jacket is of high quality and good price. Allot of value, better than a wind breaker, but just right. Nice for a windy day, but not a freezing day ! The large fits perfict for me 5' 10 and 190lbs with gut, comfy, not to tight , not to loose. Cheers !

Fit is OK everything else is Excellent
March 08, 2012

The fit is a little loose on the large for me and the medium is too small. Other than that the quality is excellent and warmth is great. I think Patagonia puts out a great product but I've found that their "cut" is a little "boxy" and loose. Not really form fitting

The simple is best
March 12, 2012

Because a design does not have waste as for this product and is very simple, I do not get tired. I select that 1 size is big and wear it on a business suit and go for work. This jacket seems to be cheap visually, but I am multipurpose and am usable. Sometimes I keep temperature from winter north wind in a field, and sometimes the full commuter train can endure it because it is easy to regulate body temperature.
