Men's Traverse Jacket 4.6 5 16 16
NOT bad, very light comfortable, light and has a good feel to it. provides some water protection. could be a little warmer. arm pocket can be a little bigger for cellphones or larger mp3 players February 2, 2012
Men's Traverse Jacket, good but not great The Jacket has an excellent fit and the price was right. It keeps me somewhat warm, but does not have great wind protection. I would say it is more wind resistant. The pockets are a very nice addition. The drawstring is a little difficult to use and does not tighten all that well. Love how the mesh is inserted in the neck. January 30, 2012
Great outer layer Jacket has no liner so it is perfect as an outer layer. Jacket is lightweight and can be used for packing when biking. For running the sleeve is long so it can be pulled down over gloves until hands warm up. January 9, 2012
First time buyer Did my research and purchased the traverse jacket. It is very light and yet very warm for the amount of material. It is my first patagonia purchase. Would highly recommend. Medium fits just fine for me...6'1", 180....it is fitted (w/o excess material in the midsection) and sleaves are long enough. If you like a more "tailored" fit, then this will be great for you. Great jacket! Lightweight, comfortable, looks great and performs well. Light precipitation rolls right off. Athletically cut but roomy enough so that I can easily layer a fleece underneath for temps into the mid 20's. The lightweight fabric seems like it wouldn't be as durable but rocks and branches have left no marks. November 1, 2011
Great jacket for what your getting The Patagonia Men's Traverse Jacket is a great jacket. It is definitely slim fitting so don't plan on layering much more than a capilene 2 long sleeve underneath it but the sleeves are a great length. The adjustment of the hem is a nice touch and the cuffs are elastic to keep the drafts to a minimum. I'm using the jacket for cold weather, light drizzle running and it seems like it will be just perfect for that. Definitely recommended but again, know you are not getting too much water or wind protection wearing it. September 18, 2011
Good Jacket This jacket is pretty darn good for what you need. It is light enough to wear on hot days and breathes well. The jacket also is great on less than warm but not cold days running. The jacket repels water better than I thought. I am 5'9" 160lbs and it fits pretty well. Could be a little tighter fit. All in all a good jacket worth the money. September 10, 2011
A comfortable and functional jogging jacket For cooler days this jacket offers a good, roomy fit, wind-resistance and, with proper layering, ample warmth. The generous cut allows for sufficient layering. The relatively high collar for further protection and the zippers function very smoothly and easily. The material is soft and compliant with a bit of stretch to it. All around, a comfortable and functional jogging jacket. August 12, 2011
Great Choice Great jacket for an early morning run. The fit is true and the quality is great. Also endures repeated washings over and over. Would recommend this product to any serious runner. July 6, 2011
Perfect for my needs Excellent jacket for fall or any high output winter sport. Great for biking, running, hiking ect. Very lightweight but not crinkly at all. Love it! October 6, 2010
excellent jacket This is a great mild weather jacket. Very light, but wind proof and very resistant to rain. One of the first times I wore it I was in a heavy down-pour and I stayed very dry and the jacket was dry itself in only a few minutes. April 15, 2010
great jacket great jacket for running biking lightweight breathable April 14, 2010
Warm ang snug jacket: great product! Perfect for wearing over dress shirt when the weathers a bit brisk. The fit is great, though sizes run smaller than some other producers. Really loved the product and it arrived on time. March 25, 2010
Why didn't I buy this sooner? My first Patagonia purchase and it probably will be the first of many based on this jacket. I was looking to replace a similar (Adidas) light weight jacket mainly for early Fall/late Spring use. This jacket blows my old one out of the water. Solid, solid construction. Fits me perfectly, too. I was a little skeptical about the whiteish front zipper, but it doesn't bother me at all in person. Soon as winter blows through, I'm going to get tons of wear out of this jacket. And, I'll have it a long time judging from the quality. I should have bought this jacket years ago!! February 26, 2010
A better Track Suit Perfect "track suit" for those whose activities are off the beaten path. Just the ticket for a drizzly run, cross country skiing or snow shoeing or signing in for a rainy bike race. The Traverse jacket (and pants) keeps you dry, keeps the wind off and looks great. January 12, 2010
After years of searching it looks like the right Jacket for me I have been looking for a quiet, light weight jacket to use for Cross Country Skiing for years. Most jackets I tried had sleeves that were too tight or a goofy collar. This jacket has adequate room in the sleeves without being too loose. The collar seems very nice and I like the pockets. It has an unobtrusive waist drawcord compared to most, at least for someone who typically does not use this feature. Since snow is slow in coming I have not tried it for skiing, but it was fine on hikes. I just cannot give it 5 stars without trying it for its intended purpose for me. Relative to most jackets it is sized on the small side as are the matching pants. November 23, 2009
