great for college!!
I bought this for my son and he LOVES it! wears it on cool mornings for now, and like that it can be layered, as an insulation under either his rain gear or other jackets for the colder weather to come. glad I came upon your website!

This versatile lightweight jacket is soft to the touch, comfortable and well made - which is true of all Patagonia products. It's a great jacket to wear outside in cool weather, but I also wear it like a sweater in the winter, around the house or at school. It gets an A+.

This, by far, is the best warmest windproof light weight high performance fleece you will find made by anyone. I am a fleece freak and custom lined this jacket with expedition weight polartec which turned the jacket into my 'bittercold' mid weight outer shell of choice that handles temperatures to 0 F and highwinds with ease even with minimal layering underneath. As good as it gets!

Your search is over
If you're looking for a mid-lightweight fleece as a mid layer under a shell or as a light jacket, this is it. It's durable, more pocket volume than you'll ever need and the collar is the perfect height (a personal annoyance with my old fleece). Darn soft and doesn't pill like cheap fleece. Canyon blue is a choice color.
