Great hanging bag
October 26, 2011
Purchased this hanging bag for a series of interviews. I traveled on a weekly basis for over three months while interview for a job. The bag performed perfectly. Easy carry-on and kept my business clothes in great shape. Best for a overnight or weekend long trip. Anything longer may require a hanging bag with greater capacity.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valuePatagonia MLC Burrito

MLC Burrito is exactly as advertised. I was looking for a garment bag that could sustain a week of business travel and keep my cloths wrinkle free. I had travel to several cities and had to pack and unpack several times. I was able to bring 1 suit, 5 dress shirts 2 slacks, 2 ties, 2 sets of casual sport cloths (jeans ect...) work out clothing -vibram 5 fingers-flip flops and a hygene bag. The MLC packed up easily and fit the airplane overhead (even the small planes) with ease. This is a definite go-to bag for business travelers.

this bag is a great all around travel bag--even if you aren't traveling with a suit. with suits, it has a long enough inner compartment that keeps your clothes *relatively* wrinkle free (i would advise a short hanger to maximize the length of the bag). the best part about this garment bag are all the other pockets (7!) that hold other clothes, accessories, etc. to keep stuff separate. there are 2 vented/mesh pockets big enough for shoes, dirty laundry, etc and others for more stuff. it comes with a metal hanger with which you can hang the entire bag up from the door and use as a garment "shelf". the huge back pocket is great if you are traveling with papers, laptop, magazines--it's easy to access in the security line. actually, all the inner pockets are pretty easy to access through the sides without having to undo all of the burrito. the only less fabulous feature are: 1. the carry strap of the bag was a little too long for me on the shortest setting (i'm 5'4") and 2. the inner zipper for the first third fold is sometimes a bit tricky to get zipped up. otherwise, a very handy investment, and has the patagonia lifetime guarantee!
The last carry-on I will buy

So far I've used the Burrito on one trip. The main compartment is large, unzips nearly the full way to make it easy to load, room for 4 hangers. The shirts I carried in the main compartment were well kept on arrival. The only dislike (minimal) is that the pocket in the interior middle has no dividers, t-shirts shifted around. It looks good and does the trick to simplify traveling.
The Perfect Carry-on?
August 10, 2010
It's light-weight, made of a tough, durable fabric. The sleeves and pockets all make sense, with the exception of the outside, zipped pocket with unzips facing down when the bag is hanging from a door. I'm a "road warrior", and it's become my go-to bag for business trips up to a week long.
The Burrito Bag is Back
August 04, 2009
This is an improved updated version of Patagonia's Burrito bag from years ago. The design is almost identical to the previous version with improvements such as a more supple fabric and a simpler lighter mechanism to hold your clothes hangers. This will become your favorite piece of luggage. True Patagonia quality.
