awesome versatile belt
October 27, 2011
Excellent all purpose belt. I can even wear it to work sometimes as "smart casual" look. Doesn't loosen when used during active use like other belts have done. Super easy to cut to desired length and burn edge. I don't think it'll undo or fray given my experience thus far with the belt. Highly recommend!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueTech Web Belt

I love this belt! It seems to be very durable because of its simple construction. I don't need to consider the wet condition unlike other leather belts. I will buy another color.

Patagonia Tech Web Belt is solid and comfortable. It looks great with jeans, khakis, or shorts. Buckle holds fast and looks especially good for those occasions when you actually have to tuck in your shirt. I have both the Black and Blueblack colors and I am very happy!

Great Belt
January 01, 2011
I bought this belt for my BF for Christmas. He loves it! He had another one simillar to it, but he likes this one better because of the width. Very durable as well!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of usebelt for all seasons
December 07, 2011
Since this belt is a one-size, I was worried that it would either be too long/short. I wear a size 34 waist and it fits perfectly (it has about 5" excess of the webbing). The belt is a thick webbing (very durable feeling), and the buckle is chunky and awesome. In a pinch, this very easily could double as a life-line. I love the look/character and the sturdiness.
It's a good belt
October 27, 2010
This belt is well weaved and study, when I wear it, it's light and pretty.I love this belt very much.
Pros: Ease of usePatagonia quality
December 17, 2011
You can't go wrong here, Patagonia quality all the way. Work well under carpenter's bags. Going to buy a couple more, great product, so it will probably be discontinued!

Wears just fine, perfect width,Great belt!
Nice belt
December 06, 2010
This is a great, study belt. My only complaint is that the "teeth" that create the friction on the belt aren't sharp enough so sometimes the belt slips open. It seems like it needs to be constantly retightened. Other than that, really nice belt.
Pros: Ease of use, Cons: Low performanceDid you recently buy the Patagonia Tech Web Belt? Write a review.
Quality Product
March 22, 2012
Quality Product. Just got it but looks like it will last forever. Probably will get another one or two in different colors. Would recommend to friends.
Pros: Great design, Build qualityBest Web Belt
September 21, 2011
Awesome web belt. What's nice is it holds your size with the initial loop through instead of other web belts that slip. Excellent belt. I will be buying two more. One extra for me and one for my rock climbing bro.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of usePerfect
March 29, 2011
Simple good looking micro-adjustable high quality belt. Perfect for all occasions. It arrived a little on the long side. You can customize by cutting some off and then burning the end.

Pros: Ease of use, Great valueA good, durability belt
July 20, 2011
I bought this belt for my self and my wife. We both like this belt very much. It is strong, durability, smart. If there are more colors for selecting, I am likely to buy another two ones.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGreat casual web belt! - buckle is still bulky
August 22, 2010
I used to use a cheap generic web belt with a rectangular buckle which would always stick out under my untucked t-shirt. I was looking to replace them and bought this belt based on the positive reviews. It is high quality and easy to wear. The buckle is still bulky, but there is no way around this when using a heavy-duty cotton web belt. I'd consider buying more in different colors.

Pros: Great valueKiller belt
May 17, 2010
I have 3 of them....they don't slip, the buckle looks good, great thickness
perfect
June 11, 2010
I bought this belt for it's simplicity and it is exactly what I wanted and then some. I couldn't tell for sure without holding it but I was hoping the webbing was stiff enough to support carrying things on the belt without it folding and I was more than pleased. It dries quick and is very durable. It's typical Patagonia kit! Wonderful price for what you get. I am sure I'll have this belt in use for a very long time!
Tech Web Belt

This is a great belt. I purchased it for my son who seems to go through belts as fast as his shoes. This belt is durable and easy to adjust. He will buy another color.

Good Belt
April 15, 2010
A good belt for every day activities; around the garden, yard. I bought this belt for backpacking looking for a light weight solution. Buckle is too heavy for this and belt is too heavy duty as well.
Great For All Occasions
June 16, 2010
In the past I have worn mainly leather belts, but I don't like how they wear in some conditions especially when they become wet. I bought the Patagonia Tech Web Belt as a possible solution, and I am extremely pleased. Not only does it work well in all environments, the material has not stretched like a leather belt does. The teeth on the buckle hold everything together and the belt stays adjusted just as you would like. I've worn this belt with everything, jeans, khakis, shorts, ski pants, etc... One word "Excellent!"
Does not fit all sizes
January 14, 2010
I am an average sized man, but this belt did not fit all sizes. Loved the belt, but just wasn't my size.

Best belt I've ever owned
January 04, 2012
Great belt, really like the buckle and the webbing is burly. I've owned many web belts but non like this. It's well worth the price. Only bad thing is the end gets a little frayed nothing a little fire cant fix to melt the frayed nylon threads.

My Husband's Favorite Belt
February 02, 2011
This is my husband's favorite belt! He wears it for outdoor activities as well as work - casual dress. It is durable - never looks worn or faded and cleans easily with the wipe of a wet papertowel or cloth. My husband owns several. The dark charcoal color is perfect because it goes with almost everything.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts foreverYeah!
March 01, 2010
Great belt for a "changing" waist. Not sure about vacillating, although my waist has swayed before! Some folks love to use big words, appropriate or not.

fun and functional
May 06, 2011
love having the handy bottle opener. The gray color looks great with jeans, and the grip on the buckle really holds well. The belt lies flat, and transitions well from outdoor activities to a casual night on the town.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useVery nice product from Patagonia
June 24, 2010
I was so impressed and purchased two more. Strong & durable, it will hold up any pants! Haven't tried to open a beer with the buckle yet but sure it will work! This is the best nylon belt.
The only belt you will need!
February 17, 2010
I use this belt with my ski pants, my hiking, pants, my travel pants, and for casual wear. It fits me well (38 waist) without any additional trimming. Get this belt and you will not regret it.
Very functional and reasonably priced
January 18, 2011
The tech web belt does exactly what it is supposed to do. Very simple, functional, and handsome buckle.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Great valueGreat Belt
January 14, 2011
While a little expensive, the belt is well made and looks good. The tech web belt adjusts easily and holds tension without slipping. Haven't tried to open a bottle yet... I wear it with my BDU pants for search & rescue work. Can also be worn with Carhartts for casual wear. Another good patagonia product.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of usegreat belt
July 07, 2010
This belt is long enough for a 36' waist, belt is 47'. I will be buying another.
Belt to rule all belts.
December 23, 2009
Only reason I did not give this belt a 5 star rating is because the buckle area isn't as flush to the body as I like. Other than that this is a great functional belt that looks to last for a very long time.
Heavy Duty Belt
May 15, 2012
I felt a litter surprise to find how thick and heavy the belt was when it arrived. It is definitely a high quality belt which is built for outdoor adventure. But it might not be the one for daily life use.
Pros: Build quality, Ease of use, Performance, Cons: Cost, shipping packingWrite a review for the Patagonia Tech Web Belt here.
great belt
July 06, 2011
This belt is awesome. I haven't mastered opening a beer bottle yet, but I plan to get a lot of practice. There's a little more tail after tightening the belt than I would prefer, but I guess that's what you get with a "one-size-fits-all" belt. I'm a 34" waist.

Tough belt
July 19, 2010
This is the toughest belt I have ever had. I use this belt for farming. The previous belt was slippery, but this is definitely not. Although this belt is a little long for me, but I would like to buy one later.
Solid, Tight, Heavy Duty Belt !
January 15, 2010
This nice belt fits all my pants smoothly and very sharp looking. Very good material so the belt dries very fast and doesn't get wet easily in snow. Flexible length makes it easy to fit all sizes. Will buy another one for my girlfriend too !
Best Mountain-Formal Belt on the Planet
June 04, 2010
For me, the Patagonia Web Belt is all I need for anything that has belt loops and any occasion except maybe a big city wedding. Tough, rugged but always looks good.
Great belt for work or play
June 15, 2010
Love the belt and it actually works for casual dress, outdoor use or work days. Fairly stylish and excellent quality. It could stand to be a little longer, though. I'm 6'4", 230#, ~37" waist and there's not a lot left over after buckling.

Love this thing!
November 09, 2010
This belt is spot on! It is simple to use and the fact that the buckle doubles as a bottle opener is awesome! It fits nice and tight once it is cinched down and does not slip. I wear it while climbing and it holds everything in place for hours on end. I also wear it occasionally with jeans since it looks great too! It is a bit long but I had no problems cutting it down and burning the end to sear it. Another quality product from Patagonia.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of useExcellent
July 27, 2011
Love this belt. The buckle is a little bigger than I thought. It is so easy to adjust, before and after meal. :) Thinner and lighter than my regular leather belt. This will last forever.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGreat Belt
May 25, 2011
Got this belt to wear fossile hunting & kayaking. Wanted an indestructible belt i could get wet. Exceeded my expectations. Doesn't stick out. Stays tight. I wear to work and sometimes have tool belt over it. Didn't have to size it. Just tuck extra under belt loops. Great belt! Plan to get another one thats dark to match some of my work clothes. Currently have light color.

Great Every Day Belt
March 28, 2010
I bought the Black and Silver belts for my outdoor hiking and photography outings. But I now wear them all the time. They hold my duty gear in place without ever loosening, sagging, folding or curling. May look at getting a new one in another color.
Perfect multi-use belt
January 07, 2010
I am an undercover detective and carry five lbs of gear on this belt. It does not sag or slip and I couldn't have asked for better design. It is now my favorite belt for work and casual wear. The bad thing for Patagonia is I think it will last forever. Buy one, you wont regret it.
Great Belt
February 26, 2010
Third one i ordered. Changes easily with my vacillating girth.
Awesome belt
January 21, 2010
Awesome belt, works for more than just a belt. Always good when it is made by Patagonia. Good Product
Excellent Accessory
February 04, 2011
I bought this belt for a pair of ski pants. It worked out great! Very comfortable, durable, and stylish. I didn't have any issues w/ the belt slipping at all. It was exactly what I was expecting from Altrec and Pategonia. I may end up buying another in a different color.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great valueContinuously Adjustable Belt!
October 08, 2010
My waist seems to shrink and expand based on what I've eaten. Because of this, my pants fit...sometimes. I've been wanting a belt that is continuously adjustable (i.e. no belt loops) for a while. My buddy Ritz had one of these and I wore it for a few days until he started to hide it from me. I was then forced to get one for myself. The belt rox! It comes really long, so you have to shorten it yourself. Speaking of...be careful. I almost cut mine too short. Also, when you cut it, cut the tip at an angle so that it will more easily fit through belt loops. I messed this up since I cut it pretty much as short as it could be, without cutting the end at a slant. Bummer. It would be nice if the belt had a bit of stretch to it. All in all, great belt that will last forever. Get one!

Holds my pants up
September 26, 2011
This belt is built to last. I can't imagine this heavy webbing will ever break or wear out. I have a 32/33 inch waist and there is plenty of extra length to this belt (the extra could easily be trimmed, but leaving it allows the belt to be used a a gear strap or extra lashing if needed). The buckle is easy on and off and the bottle opener is has come in handy a time or two.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of useDid you recently buy the Patagonia Tech Web Belt? Write a review.
A Great Belt
February 18, 2013
I tried several belts for hiking and backpacking prior to purchasing the Tech Web Belt. Here is what makes this belt the very best: 1) The buckle actually works and does not slip like so many other brands. 2) The belt is substantial as in heavy duty. I wear a canon camera and case on my belt with no problem. 3) It's adjustable - that's right - just mark it with a pen, cut it with a sharp knife and then melt the end with a match so that it will not fray. It's a great belt and my son loved it so much, I bought one for him.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of usePatagonia Quality
December 03, 2010
Great belt. Once you cinch this belt your done- the sturdy buckle will not slip. Attractive belt-I have the tan and black which I alternate. One size fits all.

Its a belt!
February 23, 2012
The quality of this belt was appreciated right out of the package. I have a 33-34 waist and I purchased "one size" I could trim about 4 inches from this belt and leave just the right amout of tail. I have purchased 2 other brands previously and this belt is superior. the buckle quality (being metal) is the main attraction. I also own the friction belt which was a bit too thin for what I was looking for originally. This one is perfect and think I will purchase another in a different color.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, styleSimple Excellence
January 03, 2012
Finaly some one has made the perfect belt, the only thing better is to have two.. I had bought a work belt at the local big box store and knew I would not be satisfied. I should have insisted on this one to begin with..

Bulky
February 10, 2011
I'm not so fond of this belt because the buckle is bulky. It sits further away from your pants than normal belt buckles, therefore I wouldn't recommend it for backpacking.
Pros: Great designGreat belt
April 02, 2011
Great belt. Wonderful color. Comfortable and tough. Should last a while. Looking forward to wearing it for years to come. Good with jeans or khakis. Quality like all Patagonia.
Pros: Great design, Build qualityPatagonia Techweb belt
December 04, 2010
Takes about a month of consistent wearing for the belt to lose its stiffness but once it does it is so comfortable. In the meantime you have to put up with some uncomfortable digging when contorting your body in active situations. Holds really well when stressed and does not creep open like other webbed belts.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Cons: takes a while to break inwon't weight you down!
September 21, 2011
Great belt. Even looks sophisticated with the brushed aluminum buckle! Many colors to choose from, make me want to buy another. Bottle opener function is icing on the cake! Finally a belt that won't tear, crack, or get all mis-shaped. Kudos to Patagonia for making a belt that does more!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: nadagood stuff

this buckle holds tight, and the bottle opener works well also, makes a good knife belt not so good gun belt, and it drys very fast, very light weight
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Great valuenice belt
January 14, 2013
Great belt. Pretty simple to use - it is a belt. The can opener feature is awesome. I am sure the belt will last a long time. I had an old web belt of theirs for 15 years.
Phenomenal!
February 11, 2011
Has instantly become my favorite "all purpose utility belt." Nice & wide, incredibly well put-together. Love the width. I have a 35" waist, and the length is perfect - the tip goes nicely into the first belt loop for securing after it's run through the buckle. Have had absolutely NO problems w/slipping. It's built like a tank, and I expect years of use out of it.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of useSimple and Stylish
September 18, 2011
The belt looks great. Nice and simple. It never comes undone while I'm wearing it unlike some other polyester web belts I've had in the past. Typical excellent Patagonia quality.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Great valueAwesome belt

The best belt i have ever purchased... went to a couple parties this weekend and showed of the bottle opener. It was a hit... the belt is sturdy and I doubt the buckle will ever break.

I've been looking for a good belt for a long time. By long time, I mean 10+ years. During that time, I've been using one of those black belts that goes along with dress pants and various other 'things' that come with cargo shorts I've bought in the past. I remember seeing people who had belts that were similar to this - but I never put in the effort to find one by myself. With that background, I finally did put in the effort and gave one of these a shot. I got a grey one. And I love it. Best belt I have ever owned. Now I can use those black belts for the pants that they deserve - dress pants. This belt is now the go-to belt for all occasions. In fact, I got a second one - a white one. Highly recommended. If you're in the market for a belt that looks good and does exactly what you need it to, this is the belt for you. A+ for Patagonia's Tech Web Belt. Cost is the only scary thing - but when you compare it to the buy two-get-one sales of other (inferior) belts, it's not that much.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, great lookingJuly 03, 2011
This belt is a great value. Construction, owing to simplicity and chunkiness, appears bomb-proof. That same simplicity and quality of materials with the addition of a wide variety of colors make this compatible with a range of dress. Bought second right after receiving first.
Pros: Great designBulky

Pros: Ease of use, Cons: Bad design, Low performanceGreat belt!

I have two of these that I wear every day. They are fashionable to wear with work khakis and durable enough to wear with my jeans. I have worn these backpacking and I have worn them in social settings and the belts have done the job. They hold well and do not slip. I can't say enough about these belts.
Nice Belt!!

Built to last, great all around belt. Size can be a litte long but it's works well and thinking of getting another color. I'm a fan of the clasp and design. Great casual belt and perfect for outdoors.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts foreverGo-to weekend belt

Highly durable, uniquely versatile. Hiking, hunting, working around the house, even a casual night out -- this is my "utility belt". I have about five different colors and every one has demonstrated typical Patagonia quality. The bottle opener functionality is also a neat party trick...
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGood belt, if bulky
March 01, 2011
High quality nylon strap, good buckle with secure grip. Shouldn't slip unless you eat a whole ham. Buckle and strap combination is bulky & sticks out farther than most leather belts. Could snag on a turnstile in Rome and rip your pants clean off. But at least you'll be in Rome.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Cons: bulkynice belt

this belt has a good look and it holds where you snug it to because of a well designed buckle. I plan to get a couple more in other colors. Great for hiking pants as well as a good look with jeans or casual dress.
