Nice belt
December 06, 2010

This is a great, study belt. My only complaint is that the "teeth" that create the friction on the belt aren't sharp enough so sometimes the belt slips open. It seems like it needs to be constantly retightened. Other than that, really nice belt.

Pros: Ease of use
Cons: Low performance

Great belt!
December 05, 2010

I have two of these that I wear every day. They are fashionable to wear with work khakis and durable enough to wear with my jeans. I have worn these backpacking and I have worn them in social settings and the belts have done the job. They hold well and do not slip. I can't say enough about these belts.

Patagonia Techweb belt
December 04, 2010

Takes about a month of consistent wearing for the belt to lose its stiffness but once it does it is so comfortable. In the meantime you have to put up with some uncomfortable digging when contorting your body in active situations. Holds really well when stressed and does not creep open like other webbed belts.

Pros: Great design, Build quality
Cons: takes a while to break in

Love this thing!
November 09, 2010

This belt is spot on! It is simple to use and the fact that the buckle doubles as a bottle opener is awesome! It fits nice and tight once it is cinched down and does not slip. I wear it while climbing and it holds everything in place for hours on end. I also wear it occasionally with jeans since it looks great too! It is a bit long but I had no problems cutting it down and burning the end to sear it. Another quality product from Patagonia.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use

Continuously Adjustable Belt!
October 08, 2010

My waist seems to shrink and expand based on what I've eaten. Because of this, my pants fit...sometimes. I've been wanting a belt that is continuously adjustable (i.e. no belt loops) for a while. My buddy Ritz had one of these and I wore it for a few days until he started to hide it from me. I was then forced to get one for myself. The belt rox! It comes really long, so you have to shorten it yourself. Speaking of...be careful. I almost cut mine too short. Also, when you cut it, cut the tip at an angle so that it will more easily fit through belt loops. I messed this up since I cut it pretty much as short as it could be, without cutting the end at a slant. Bummer. It would be nice if the belt had a bit of stretch to it. All in all, great belt that will last forever. Get one!

Pros: Great design, Lasts forever

Great casual web belt! - buckle is still bulky
August 22, 2010

I used to use a cheap generic web belt with a rectangular buckle which would always stick out under my untucked t-shirt. I was looking to replace them and bought this belt based on the positive reviews. It is high quality and easy to wear. The buckle is still bulky, but there is no way around this when using a heavy-duty cotton web belt. I'd consider buying more in different colors.

Excellent belt. Versatile, packable, strong and good looking. Buy more than one color, you'll be glad you did.

Tough belt
July 19, 2010

This is the toughest belt I have ever had. I use this belt for farming. The previous belt was slippery, but this is definitely not. Although this belt is a little long for me, but I would like to buy one later.

great belt
July 07, 2010

This belt is long enough for a 36' waist, belt is 47'. I will be buying another.

Very nice product from Patagonia
June 24, 2010

I was so impressed and purchased two more. Strong & durable, it will hold up any pants! Haven't tried to open a beer with the buckle yet but sure it will work! This is the best nylon belt.

Great For All Occasions
June 16, 2010

In the past I have worn mainly leather belts, but I don't like how they wear in some conditions especially when they become wet. I bought the Patagonia Tech Web Belt as a possible solution, and I am extremely pleased. Not only does it work well in all environments, the material has not stretched like a leather belt does. The teeth on the buckle hold everything together and the belt stays adjusted just as you would like. I've worn this belt with everything, jeans, khakis, shorts, ski pants, etc... One word "Excellent!"

Great belt for work or play
June 15, 2010

Love the belt and it actually works for casual dress, outdoor use or work days. Fairly stylish and excellent quality. It could stand to be a little longer, though. I'm 6'4", 230#, ~37" waist and there's not a lot left over after buckling.

perfect
June 11, 2010

I bought this belt for it's simplicity and it is exactly what I wanted and then some. I couldn't tell for sure without holding it but I was hoping the webbing was stiff enough to support carrying things on the belt without it folding and I was more than pleased. It dries quick and is very durable. It's typical Patagonia kit! Wonderful price for what you get. I am sure I'll have this belt in use for a very long time!

Best Mountain-Formal Belt on the Planet
June 04, 2010

For me, the Patagonia Web Belt is all I need for anything that has belt loops and any occasion except maybe a big city wedding. Tough, rugged but always looks good.

Killer belt
May 17, 2010

I have 3 of them....they don't slip, the buckle looks good, great thickness

Great Belt
April 23, 2010

I love the thickness of the belt. It looks substantial, and, as every review has indicated, it does not slip. Great product.

Good Belt
April 15, 2010

A good belt for every day activities; around the garden, yard. I bought this belt for backpacking looking for a light weight solution. Buckle is too heavy for this and belt is too heavy duty as well.

Great Every Day Belt
March 28, 2010

I bought the Black and Silver belts for my outdoor hiking and photography outings. But I now wear them all the time. They hold my duty gear in place without ever loosening, sagging, folding or curling. May look at getting a new one in another color.

Great belt , practical and convenient.
March 22, 2010

Recommended for all outdoors activities and all day use.

Nice Belt!!
March 14, 2010

I work outside and like the fact that the belt is lightweight and dries fast!!

This belt works awesome with my snowboarding pants and can be used to pop a beer cap! Really nice!

Good belt...Great Service
March 06, 2010

Love the belt. The buckle is a little large and overpowering, but it does not slip. Probably will not fit anyone with a waist larger than 41".

Yeah!
March 01, 2010

Great belt for a "changing" waist. Not sure about vacillating, although my waist has swayed before! Some folks love to use big words, appropriate or not.

Great Belt
February 26, 2010

Third one i ordered. Changes easily with my vacillating girth.

The only belt you will need!
February 17, 2010

I use this belt with my ski pants, my hiking, pants, my travel pants, and for casual wear. It fits me well (38 waist) without any additional trimming. Get this belt and you will not regret it.

Awesome belt
January 21, 2010

Awesome belt, works for more than just a belt. Always good when it is made by Patagonia. Good Product

Highly recommend
January 19, 2010

I've been wearing this belt almost every day since it arrived. I've found it perfect for casual dress or when going out for a hike. Heavy Duty all around - will have this thing for a long time.

Solid, Tight, Heavy Duty Belt !
January 15, 2010

This nice belt fits all my pants smoothly and very sharp looking. Very good material so the belt dries very fast and doesn't get wet easily in snow. Flexible length makes it easy to fit all sizes. Will buy another one for my girlfriend too !

Tight and solid
January 15, 2010

Tight and solid good to use

Does not fit all sizes
January 14, 2010

I am an average sized man, but this belt did not fit all sizes. Loved the belt, but just wasn't my size.

Perfect multi-use belt
January 07, 2010

I am an undercover detective and carry five lbs of gear on this belt. It does not sag or slip and I couldn't have asked for better design. It is now my favorite belt for work and casual wear. The bad thing for Patagonia is I think it will last forever. Buy one, you wont regret it.

Belt to rule all belts.
December 23, 2009

Only reason I did not give this belt a 5 star rating is because the buckle area isn't as flush to the body as I like. Other than that this is a great functional belt that looks to last for a very long time.

Great tough belt
December 21, 2009

Best non leather belt one can buy. Very burly, sharp looking, unique. Great bottle opener to boot. I own 3 of these.

Awesome Buy!
December 06, 2009

Strong with a great aluminum buckle. This friction belt does not loosen over time. It is a bit wide so it might not fit in some dressy pants, but jeans and chinos are just fine. I cut off the extra material and burned the end of the belt to get the proper length. Highly recommended.

J.Cole

Buy it, it's a good belt!
November 11, 2009

Simple design, cool buckle (bottle opener verified) all with the clean lines of nylon-like webbing. Bought the brown, and had to come back for the black!
