great warm hat
February 19, 2012
I loved my first Patagonia Duck Bill hat and was pleased to find this one. It has the same great quality and durability but the fit for the same size (M) is slightly different. It still keeps my ears toasty and my eyes shaded but wants to slip down and rest on my glasses since the head room is somewhat larger in back. Also the bill is flat instead of rounded as in the older model. I'll keep it, as it is still the best hat for X-country skiing that I've ever found. Another plus, it is amazingly becoming. I wear it everywhere all winter. But, Patagonia go back to the 2010 fit.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, shades eyes, keeps your ears truly warm, amazingly becoming, Cons: changed fit causes hat to slip down in front, flat brim not as functional as curvedDid you recently buy the Patagonia Windproof Duckbill Hat? Write a review.

My favorite winter hat so far. Adjustable, breathable, warm and not very hot. The most I love about it is the duckbill it has, which makes your face more beautiful.
