Sassy, snug, technical short-shorts with a low rise. Made from a soft, stretchy blend of nylon and spandex engineered to wick moisture, they're also tube-constructed, which means no side seams.

these are so comfortable -- i love them! i've been very happy with the quality of patagonia briefs for years. i agree that they are a tad pricey (i wait until they go on sale and then pray my size is available), but they are worth it! very satisfied.

Super comfortable underwear, and a very flattering style. I wear them for yoga, hiking and running - they dry super fast, and don't ride up. Not only are they good for working out, but they also look great. A tad pricey, but you get what you pay for. I'm completely satisfied, and will buy more very soon.

Went for a 10 mile very steep hike. These were dry in no time, didn't weigh me down like the cotton things do. Great!!

these are great for skiing when you want everything covered and to stay warm on the lift. I also wear them to bed sometimes. They are great and I'm about to buy more.

I wear these snowmobiling, and they never bind or give me a wedgie. I have found that the legs roll up if I wear tight-fitting jeans, but other than that, they do not roll up. Love them!

I have worn Patagonia for a long time and I thought I should finally buy some for my girlfriend. She loves these and they fit her great. She's fairly active and tells me they move with her and don't bother her like other "active" shorts do.

I have 8 or so pairs of these now because they're so comfortable and come in great colors and patterns. I wear them daily to work and sometimes under workout clothes. I also found that the edges roll when I pull up my pants, but it's easy to smooth them out. I don't have the rolling edge problem so much with workout wear, but still find the hipster to be more comfortable under liner-less running shorts. These boy shorts tend to stretch out after a while, so it may be that other reviewers' bunching problems are from sizing too big. I'd suggest trying a size smaller than usual.

I have these and use them to sleep in. They are great but as the other person has said will move around if you use them for high intensity activities. I find the hipster or the brief to be much better for those types of activities. They definitely appeal to the younger/small sized crowd more.

If you don't have to move around too much, these are really comfy, soft and nice. However, when I wore them hiking, I found that the legs rolled up often so that they started bunching up under my pants. Very annoying. They might do better under skirts or shorts, but I haven't put them on since.
