Beware of the new style!
April 14, 2010

I formerly loved that Patagonia Active Boy Shorts. They're the best boy shorts out there. Unfortunately Patagonia has changed the style. I ordered the same size and had to return them, b/c they were itty bitty and offered no rear coverage. I hope they realize the error of the change and go back to the original style. Don't try to fix what isn't broken:)

Best Boyshorts
March 25, 2013

I love boyshorts and have been looking for some that were durable and fit well for some time now. I thought i'd give these a try and they are the most comfortably fitting underwear...period. The material is very light, breathable and durable. They do not ride up or show lines, and they are true to fit. I am a size 8 and the medium in these fit perfectly. Although they are a little pricey, the quality with which they are made makes them worth it. These are now the only underwear that I wear. Will definitely purchase more.

Pros: Great design, very comfortable, quality material, Cons: Cost

super soft. fit just right and stay, even when squatting or bending over. snug, but not tight- no areas of constriction leaving pesky red lines from seams. 5'4", 120 lbs, tiny bum- small fit great.

Great for tennis too!
March 22, 2011

I purchased these pants for the purpose of using them for that hard to fit undergarment for a sheer tennis dress with no lining. It fits great and does not show panty lines and I can even attach my tennis ball clip to them! Perfect for what I needed, now just need to buy more colors for all my tennis dresses!

I am a big fan of these boy shorts. They don't bunch, they are breathable, super comfy. They do run a smidge big and they are a little low. It would be nice to see Patagonia provide boy shorts with a little more coverage. However, I would still recommend these.

Nice boy shorts, really does run large
February 16, 2011

Definitely size down for these. I bought both these and the Patagonia hipster underwear in size M. The hipsters fit great, but I had to return these to get a size S. Otherwise, comfy, a bit low.
