THE ONLY UNDERWEAR I WILL WEAR!!
Personally, I've never been a fan of underwear - it always seems to ride up during activity, retain sweat, show lines under clothing, and bunch up or roll over the top/at the waist. Many years ago, someone had suggested I try Patagonia underwear, and I quickly found out why! They are the most comfortable, quick-drying, moisture-wicking, underwear I've ever worn. They stay in place & the wide band at the top eliminates that problem of rolling over & bunching up at the waistline. They are super soft & come in vibrant, striped color choices, which I really liked!
I have a pair of the regular hipster version, and they have done so much better than any other brand of underwear for several years, so I recently went ahead & spent the money for 4 new pairs of the active hipsters, & I couldn't be more happy! While they seem pricey, they are worth every penny when it comes to longevity & comfort!!

Hipster briefs are the best
I purchased the Patagonia hipster briefs and have to say that if your looking for moisture wicking, great comfort with no riding up, I highly recommend checking these out.
Patagonia makes great products, nice that Altrec carries so many of them!

As advertised
Bought the briefs just before a week-long trip that included some hiking. Wanted to reduce my luggage load. The product did everything that it was suppose to: good fit, didn't ride up, washed and dried well. Medium was the perfect size for me: I am 5'4" and weigh about 135 pounds. Don't have any complaints. Not the sexiest pair of panties I own but very functional.

won't buy anything else
I love these underwear. They have a ton of stretch but don't stretch out. Colors remain vivid. They stand up to many washes. Great for the gym but cute enough to wear every day.

Favorite Underwear by Far!
These Patagonia Hipsters are the best and look super cute too! They fit and feel great. I got a S and am 5'9, 125lbs. They ride low and don't have too many lines. They come in great colors - I only wish they were on sale more often as they are they only kind I purchase anymore.

made me want to buy more!
Wasn't sure if I'd love these so i only bought one pair to start out...ended up buying five more! They are a super comfortable soft stretchy fabric. No seams or panty lines to show. They stay put. They wash easily and keep their shape. I wear a size 10 or 12 and the large fits well. When I wash them in a sink at a hotel, they'll be dry by morning, but when camping they don't always dry completely overnight. They're worth the price.

Comfortable
Debated on purchasing these hipsters since I normally don't like to spend so much on under garments, but am very glad I did buy a pair. They are very, very comfortable and don't ride up!

I bought three pair of these and they are the most comfortable underwear I've ever had. They are especially great in hot weather. I will definitely buy more.

Love, love these!!!
These underwear are awesome! I originally purchased these for running and hiking in hot weather but have been wearing every day. Super comfortable, no pantylines, breathable, and quick-drying. I am 5'3, 137lbs and curvy - I found the size 6 to be a tiny bit big but very wearable. The size 5 fits best. These are low-rise even though they are "briefs". They fit like a cross between a hiphugger and bikini. Full coverage back and no riding up, even with hiking, climbing and different shorts, pants, etc.

Love the Active Hipster
I love Patagonia's Active Hipster. I originally bought a pair to wear for running, but I'm slowing collecting them so I can wear them every day. I'm 5'9" 140lb with an adequate backside, and the medium fits great.

new favorites!
I bought a couple of pairs of these to take with me on a 5-week backpacking trip, but ended up liking them so much that I've been wearing them every day. I usually wear a size 0-2 or an xs and these were true to size. The material was much thinner and softer than I had expected-- which is a good thing! They stay in place despite their softness, and dry easily overnight (no lingering dampness unlike some of my other "technical" underwear.) I also got a pair of the briefs, which would be great under a skirt, dress, or trousers because of their higher cut, while these are great for wearing under jeans and low-rise bottoms.

Awesome for running!
I tried these because I love all things patagonia, but the reality is these are great for active women. I run in mine because they are comfortable, stay put, and breathe. Once I fell in love with these I got my mom a couple of pairs for herself (she's a personal trainer) and she loves them, too! Best thing to wear under your running shorts! (and even better on sale!)

not your granny's undies
After some reviewers here suggested the hipsters, I finally pulled the trigger, and got 2 pairs of the purple stripe. I already have quite a few Patagonia biniki undies, and love them. While the bikinis fit well, they have higher rise than I liked. The hipsters have similar great fit, but with lower rise. They feel great on, especially when it's hot out, so you don't get the clammy undies syndrome. The purple stripe is also very lovely and soft. They feel like they will last quite a while. They definitely add some pizzazz to your underwear wardrobe.

don't hesitate
after discovering the long-lasting and all-around quality and comfort of hipsters I'm going with these. Am gradually replacing other brands bought at a lesser price for what looks and feels good.

Absolutely great hipsters. I wear only these and I'm one happy hiker and jogger. Very comfy! I'm back for more for the spring season:) Wash them and let them air dry..... they will last forever. Great color, great fit and great service from Altrec:)

I LOVE THESE !
They are everything they say they are and are so very comfortable. They feel like I have nothing on. Excellent under your clothes. I have now several pair of these and are considering using them for playing tennis and sports. They wick better than anything I have ever owned.

Another hit from Patagonia
I purchased my first pair rather reluctantly - despite all the good things said in the reviews, they're expensive and I can't imagine them being more comfy than the active briefs I already own but since my husband calls my briefs granny panties I decided to try these...well all I can say is wow, I love them! They look so much cuter on than the briefs and I can wear them with my lower waisted pants/shorts unlike the briefs. Not to mention they have all the same benefits of my Patagonia briefs (comfy, durable, moisture wicking, etc.). So now I'm slowly phasing out the briefs with these. Highly recommend!!!

Not worth the $
this product is not worth the $, it is nice material and comfortable. However, the brief still rides up and does not stay under my butt when I walk more than a mile or jog. I am 5'4, athletic build, approx 125lbs and ordered size S. I was looking for something that would not creep up or bug me on long runs/walks and this is not the product.

Always on top of the drawer.
I love these. They are always the first ones I wash and the first ones I reach for in a drawer full of pants from outdoorsy brands. The hipster cut is outrageously nice looking, although I'd never worn anything but bikini's before trying these. The seams are minimal (but they are there - so switch undies when you wear revealing skirts or trousers), they don't ride up, still look great after two years of heavy use, and you don't know you are wearing them. Just perfect most of the time - I wish I could afford more!

Good wicking, still some panty line
I love the comfort and feel of these underwear, but my panty line is still visible under tighter workout clothes like yoga pants, since the leg elastic is a little thick. (This is not really an issue under looser clothes like running shorts). I am 5'6", 135lb with a larger booty and thighs (size 29-30 jean), so I got a size L, which fits well.

A winner
I wanted wicking underwear for gym workouts and these fit the bill - they dry quickly, fit snugly, and aren't noticeable under gym clothes. At 140 pounds and 5"6, I got medium - I found that the striped version (I got blue) feel slightly tighter than the plain black ones but still fit great. Oh, and these wash wonderfully too - no pilling/snagging/loosening. Worth the investment!

Travel Comfort
These underwear are amazing and provide comfort past just being on your body. They make it really easy for you to NOT bring a lot of pairs on a trip as they are so handy to wash in the sink and hang dry over night, making my pack much lighter. I slipped the vibrant purple pair on and couldn't believe how well they fit and how seamless and smooth they felt against my skin. I am 5'10" and about 170lb - a medium fits great! I did accidentally put mine through the dryer, with no casualties - yay! In the future as with my Icebreaker clothing I try to air dry the drawers just to be safe. Great for every day use as well as the hiking and backpacking trips. Enjoy!

Fit great!
These underwear fit great! I'm 5'4, 115 with more of a pear shape. I have a hard time finding underwear that stays put and doesn't show lines. I ordered one small and one medium. The medium fits great, even after accidentally being put into the dryer a couple of times. I'll definitely be ordering more.

Best underwear ever!
These are by far the best underwear I have ever worn which explains my buying so many pairs even though they are quite pricey. They feel and fit great and don't leave lines and rolls when wearing pants. They stay put eliminating wedgies. So worth the price.

Comfortable
I like the hipster style because it does not creep up like a bikini or bunch like a boy short. I found them comfortable to wear while running and hiking. They wick well and dry quickly. When I first tried them on for fit, I thought they ran a bit small but with a couple washes I think they fit true to size. I wear a 6-8 pant size and the medium worked out fine for me. I like that Patagonia makes an effort to use recycled materials. Makes it hard to go back to regular cotton underwear!

Great for Guys, Too!
These may be the best-fitting ones yet. No wedgies, plenty of room, good fit all over. The wide, wide waistband absolutely eliminates waistband rolling.

Great on the mountains and off!
I tried the Patagonia boy shorts and found them to be uncomfortable, in addition to bunching up and not staying in place. The active hipsters ended up being exactly what I was looking for! Great for hiking, skiing and everyday wear.

best all purpose
This is absolutely my most favorite underwear I have ever worn and I buy them even when they are outrageously priced (not on sale. They are great for sports and everyday use. They are very durable. And they are not so bad looking either.

Favorite Underwear!
I find myself adding to my Patagonia Active Hipster collection. They are extremely comfortable and even great for every day wear (beyond the gym and outdoors). I have replaced most of my VS brand underwear.

Most comfortable and best underwear especially for travel.
This underwear is the most comfortable to travel with and wear. Never too hot, and easy to wash and wear. Dries very quickly if you need to hand wash while traveling. Feels like you're not even wearing underwear! Exceptional quality.
