Description

The Women's All Weather Dress from Patagonia extends the range of the typical dress from the Temple of Sinawava trailhead in Zion, through the 2,000-foot deep Narrows, wading the Virgin River. Designed for the active woman, it has an internal shelf bra, a racer back, and a stretchy 5.6-oz blend of 88% polyester/12% spandex that wicks, breathes and dries in a flash, even if wading becomes swimming. With a tiny front drop-in pocket (with key loop), side splits at the hem for full-range of motion, reflective heat-transfer front logo and a back graphic. Length (size M) is 14 from waist to hem. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

I want to live in this
May 20, 2013

I have been searching for this dress. I love the feeling of running in skirts. This dress also fits the bill. It is a bit large, I am 5'6 and 125 lbs and ordered a small, and could've gone xs. There is extra motion around the waist , but still comfy. The pocket in back is convenient as well. I will be running on many a trail this summer, in a dress.

Pros: Great design, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use

A Must Have!
May 27, 2011

This is a dress I can live in!! I bought it in black and feel like it is my summer staple whether I run in it or just run around town in it. Super cute, flattering fit. Nice support with built in bra..I'm 5ft 1/2in tall, 110 lbs, C cup. It falls nicely around the mid section, tapered but not snug to the stomach. It's sporty, sexy, comfy and well made. I also think it is priced right. Just get one already!! Wish it came in other solid colors.

Not a good fit for my body type
July 16, 2011

I purchased this all weather dress in two different sizes, but it seems the fit just wasn't meant for my body type. I have a little bit of a belly and it clung to me and showed all of my flaws. I do not have a huge stomach or anything like that. I am a size 8. I love the idea of this dress, something you can wear exercising, hiking, etc. Unfortunately, it just will not work for me. It would work well for someone with a flat stomach, or maybe with wider hips. If you are thinking about buying this dress, I would try it. It seemed of good quality, and I have read other very positive reviews online from happy customers. It just did not work for me. I hope Patagonia and other companies pick up on the workout dress option and a style comes up that works with my body shape.

This is a WINNER
July 29, 2011

I have 2 in blk for fear that if something happens to one I'll be sure to have a backup. I also bought it in red. Every time I wear this dress I get compliments from men and women (friends and strangers). The most comfortable article of clothing I've ever owned and super flattering. I'm 5ft 2in, 110 lbs, 34c. The built in bra has excellent support. LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, flattering

Awesome summer sport dress
June 08, 2013

I LOVE this dress. It it super comfortable, very flattering, functional and unique. I anticipate lots of wear this summer (hiking, kayaking or any hot day). I got the XS but am usually a S (5'4 1/2", 127lbs). I would wear it everyday if I could. The quick drying fabric is great on hot humid east coast days. I got it in black and blue/green. FYI you will flash people on a windy day.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: you will flash people on windy days

WOW...Perfect!
April 05, 2011

Wow! What a dress! Recently purchased Patagonia`s "All Weather" dress for my girlfriend. She is 5` 2", 120 lbs, a C cup and 26 years old. The size small works perfectly. This dress, in black, looks awesome on her! I highly recommend this one! More colors please...

Wanted to love this dress
October 24, 2013

I really wanted to love this dress. Sadly, it was way too large in the bust, despite my 38DDD cup size. I ordered the XL to accommodate my bust, but unfortunately, the sides sort of flared out under the arms. Also, the idea of the skirt portion is great, but it did a weird pucker and bulge where the lower portion of the dress connects to the top on the bias cut at the seams. Sadly, I'll need to return this dress. It was going to be a perfect travel dress for an upcoming trip. :(

Great running and hiking dress
September 29, 2012

I love these dresses. I have them in every color and if more colors came out, I would buy them as well. I live in a hot climate and these are so cool for running and hiking. They are longer then other running dresses, but I still have no issues getting a good workout in them. I ordered a size up to have a little more room.

nice dress but not overly impressive
February 12, 2012

This is a lightweight racerback dress, mid-thigh length, would be ideal for casual or water-based summer outings. I wasn't bowled over by it and ultimately returned it because for the price, I was hoping for something not so lightweight...or sheer! The mesh side panels, on the black dress, are somewhat see-through, which did not work for me. For the record, this dress does not have a shelf bra. I'm 5'6" 120 lb and the Small fit well.

Pros: Build quality, Ease of use
