great shorts
I got the shorts in the reds/berry and love them!! sizing is just right. Really comfy, not too baggie.
I had to exchange something and found Altrec has AWESOME customer service :-).

I love these shorts! They are great to wear around campus, hiking, and at the lake. They are very waterproof and dry quickly. They are also very comfortable. I recommend them.

Perfect for kayaking
I bought these shorts for a kayaking trip after reading some other reviews...I am typically a size 10, but for some reason I ordered the large and they are a bit baggy (hence the name!). I decided to keep them as the ties at the waist help but they are a bit baggy around thigh. The grey color goes with pretty much everything and after five hours of kayaking they were comfortable wet, and dried pretty quickly. I may order another pair in the medium.

My go-to short
Baggies are perfect for my lifestyle which takes me to the coffee shop, to the beach, to pick the kid up from school, to writing on my computer for a couple of hours, and back to walking the dog. They dry fast and fit so well. Very TTS. Dries quick. Comfy. Highly recommended for active people.

Best shorts I own!
These shorts are the most versatile, comfortable and durable shorts that I have. There are way too many pairs of womens shorts that either don't have pockets or the pockets are barely big enough to hold a key and some chapstick...these shorts have big pockets. I wear these all the time during the summer for dog walks, kayaking, lounging around the house, hiking, beach visits, etc. I live in Texas - in case you didn't know, it's super hot here - a great pair of shorts is a must. These shorts are a bit pricey, but they last forever - get a pair!

Great Shorts
So I've only had these shorts for a short while and haven't really put them to the test in harsh conditions, etc, however I can definitely comment on their comfort! They are loose fitting (I'm wear an 8 normally and the medium feels perfect), thin, but feel like quality/durable material. Perfect for lounging around. They also look pretty decent for something I bought exclusively for kayaking! They aren't nearly as long as what I expected. Great pair of shorts, that I'm sure I'll have and wear for many years to come!

Replaced My 20 Yr old Baggies!
My new baggies are just as comfortable as my 20 year old baggies, which are getting a tad thin. The new fabric is soft and looks to be durable. The pockets are deep and do not stick out. The size M fits me well and they are not too short - 125 lbs. Perfect shorts for southern summers!
I'm very glad that Patagonia still makes baggies!

Still Classics
These shorts are still tried and true. The quality of the fabric is strong and durable, just like my ten year old pair that has gone through many beach volleyball games and many washes. I particularly like the deep pockets, elastic waist that you can further adjust with the draw string, and the coverage is just right while allowing excellent mobility.

Great multipurpose shorts
The only reason I returned these shorts was that I didn't like the way the dark gray color looked on me, and wasn't keen on trying the large prints. If there was a light neutral color, I would have exchanged. In any case, the fit is true to size and ultra-comfortable, the pockets are nice and large (wish they had a zip back pocket!), the quick-dry fabric is perfect for swimming or working out. I have an old pair that has seen plenty of use and still looks brand new. Highly recommend.

Alittle too big, but still love 'em
They are alittle on the big side for someone who is a small but the waist stretch band is a good fit so if one went to an xs then they might have trouble getting them on. The overall fit though is good although I wish they had a more slim fitting design for us smaller folks. Maybe they do? I don't know..

classic for a reason
These shorts never disappoint and the new patterns are really fun.
They dry fast and don't stretch out. Great for sailing.
They pack nicely and I love the big pockets.

everyday wear in summer
I live in these shorts in the summer - perfect inseam length, great for kayaking, hiking, dog park . . . They dry quickly, and fit the body well. Fits true to size.

My New Favorite Shorts!
I am so picky about shorts. I like a short inseam without looking too short. I usually run with Nike women's track shorts. These fit very similar and look great! I got them in the mail Friday and I've been wearing them nonstop. I ordered a large because I like to have some room in the waist. If I roll them once, they are perfect length. I may order the medium to see how their length is. I love the larges regardless and I'm already looking at ordering another color. I have the black right now. The pockets are great too. These shorts are very sporty and very flattering!

I love these shorts. I have several pair. The overall comfort and feel is fabulous. I can go from exercising to working in the yard to running an errand in these shorts and feel comfortable and appropriate.

These are my favorite shorts!
I just got my first pair of baggies and I love them! They are comfortable and practical. What I like most about these shorts are the large pockets, which is something that has always been a problem with other shorts (and pants) in the past. I will definitely be buying more pairs in the future.

Baggie Shorts
These are absolutely fantastic! They are true to size and can be worn just about anywhere, doing anything. I thought the color was going to be more red (Fusion Sunset) but it is more a burnt orange, which I LOVE!

comfortable and love the print
Great shorts- I have them in the printed afterglow colour and truly like them. The colour is great, so are the pockets. The only drawback I can think of is the length-I am 6ft tall and they come out shorter on me than shown on the model picture. Nevermind, they are worth the money and wear really comfortable.

Great for Any Adventure
These shorts are great! I got them in black, and they go with everything. I wear them biking, hiking, and for just bumming around the house. Very comfortable. Also they have pockets as an added bonus!

quick dry - good for any activity
These shorts are very comfortable and they dry so quickly! I use them for everything - hiking, biking, and just hanging around. Also I love the pockets because they don't make the shorts appear to "puff out" on the sides. Overall, they're very slimming and comfortable.

Comfy Nylon Shorts
100% nylon = quick dry. Great for mowing grass, backyard cookouts, running, cycling, paddling, just about anything! I got the Academic Blue and it is very pretty. Runs true to size. I'm 5'2" 118 lbs. (with most of my weight being on my lower half) and I got a size Medium and it fits great.

Versatile, easy to put on and off, quick dry and durable!
Great shorts in many colors. I used them mailnly for the beach and paddling but they are good as gym shorts too. If I want to go out with friends after paddlings, I just change my top. These shorts are already dry and look sporty. If they have one pocket with zipper they will be perfect. They are more comfortable and look better than the Columbia ones but the Columbias have zipper.

Ideal for so many uses!
I now own four pairs of these shorts, and I wear them all the time. I live in the south where it gets very hot and sticky. These shorts dry quickly, and they're great for working out, running, hiking, working in the yard, and trips to the beach.

Great Shorts for ANY activity!
I wear these shorts to work (dog daycare: they repel drool and easily wash), to hike, to lounge around, to the gym...the pockets make them super convenient for keys or a few dollars. I highly recommend them, especially for activities that require a fast drying, comfortable short!

Best sport shorts!
I love these shorts. They are the perfect length, made of lightweight fabric that dries quickly and that I barely feel. The waistband is not too high or tight and doesn't bind. They're just baggy enough that they don't choke me during activities yet not so baggy that I feel like I'm wearing men's shorts. They fit great over a bathing suit and work well for exercising, walking, running, tennis (the pockets hold several balls) and kayaking. I own 3 pairs and all have held up well for several years (except one with a print that pilled pretty badly). I'm always on the lookout for new colors!

love these shorts!
I am very happy with these shorts, super fabric, beautiful light blue color, well designed pockets. my only quibble is with the length--wish they were just a couple inches longer, I'll just have to cope, they're still the best around for exercising.

OK
I have had numerous pairs of these shorts for about 10 years and they do last a long time. But Patagonia does seem to change the styling slightly every couple of years. My complaint with these is the rise gets kinda big as the sizes go up, which leaves us short people( 5'4") with a choice. We can push the excess fabric down around our waists where it bunches up and is bothersomely bulky and pouchy! The other option is to pull the excess fabric up around you ears, if you like to wear your shorts like chest waders! So, just because we are wider in the butt area, it does not mean we are also growing in height!!!

these would be it. I love my Patagonia baggies. They come in great colors and are perfect for all my outdoor pursuits. They dry fast, pack up nice and light in my backpack or kayak and look great. They're perfect.
