Women's Barely A/B Cup Bra 4.7 5 66 66
Like not wearing a bra! I've worn these bras for several years now. They feel like you're not wearing anything! No support, but very comfortable. Good is you're small breasted. February 3, 2012
Perfect! Been wearing these bras for years. I raft rivers and sail sailboats and used to be accustomed to wearing no bra but... as we get older that just doesn't work anymore. So I found these very comfortable and the next best thing to none! January 24, 2012
barely there If I have to wear a bra, this is the one I want! Slips right on, stays put, can barely feel it and offers just enough support. I am 5'3" 118lbs and modestly endowed. Sports bras flatten, no bra is unacceptable, Barely A/B is just right. The straps and middle of bra are out of sight under V and scoop neck Tees. It goes to the gym, stretches in yoga and curls up on the sofa. Like I said, It's barely there. January 23, 2012
Comfy bra I use this as an everyday bra. As far as activity goes, it works fine for my daily 2+ miles walks/hikes and daily mountain bike riding. I am in between sizes with Patagonia (small/medium), 36B. I have used the small, but choose to use the medium for better coverage. The small will fit around the chest and was never really uncomforatble, but I definitely get better coverage with the medium. These have been fairly durable as with working out each day, they get washed daily and have held up fine (considering their daily use). Only downside is the fineness of the fabric doesn't it make it a great T-shirt bra due to show through (the same if it you were wearing just silkweight capilene). October 29, 2011
so comfortable! I was a little skeptical before purchasing this bra but I am glad that I did. I always take off my bra when I come home but this is so comfortable that I forget I have it on. I am a B cup and there is some support so even under tighter shirts, you can tell that I am wearing a bra. My only issue is that the material is so thin that I cannot wear a tight shirt over it unless I wear layers. Other reviews have mentioned this, so I bought this already knowing that. I've only had it for a few weeks but I've already worn it almost every day and washed it a handful of times and it seems to be holding up well. September 6, 2011
Perfect for everyday cami bra I could wear this bra everyday. Its easy to put on and extremely comfortable. Keep in mind - It is truly made for an A/B cup size and doesn't give shape to your breast if that is what you're looking for... I am a nursing mom and have been wearing my Barely Cup Bra under tanks and camis all summer as an alternative to nursing cami's. Great Product. September 5, 2011
Awesome bra for low-impact I am an A cup, so I can't necessarily speak for girls of a larger size (although I know someone who is a B and also loves this bra), but I think this sports bra is awesome. I use it for hiking and yoga, when I'm not doing anything high-impact, and don't need something that crushes everything flat. It dries very quickly, which is a huge plus after a long hike, or an hour doing hot yoga. It provides just enough support, and it is even comfortable to sleep in, for those who like that kind of thing. August 29, 2011
Great Everyday Bra Love this bra. It's comfortable, extremely lightweight, has the adequate support I need (B cup). Adjustable. bomb-proof. I wear it every day. I even think Patagonia is stepping up their game on color choice. July 29, 2011
Finally bought I am far from well endowed and have been looking for something I can wear when I'm moderately active (golf, walking, etc) that is less substantial than a sports bra. This definitely is it. The support and coverage is minimal. But, I don't need it. Very comfortable and I will probably buy in more colors. It is a little tricky to put on as it does twist up a bit but worth the hassle. I'm also a big fan of Patagonia products as I don't think they've fallen into using cheap materials like so many other companies. I've always been satisfied with their products. July 16, 2011
what a comfort These bras are so comfortable that they are true to their description-barely there. However they are kind of on the thin side that would give no coverage to your essential area. I wish they can just improve on this aspect then these would be the best of bras to all the a and b cup sizes. July 11, 2011
Women's Barely Bra (a/b) Wow! I love this bra! I wish I'd gotten one a long time ago. I'm wearing it now and I don't even feel like I'm wearing a bra. In a "normal" bra, I wear a 32B (hooked so it's as small around as possible) and I ordered an extra small. It fits perfectly. It doesn't flatten like some pull-on bras do. Of course you don't get the same "lift and separate" shape as a molded cup bra either but then you get great comfort and, for me, it's worth the trade! I bought black and am thinking I'm going to get it in quartz as well. You can't see through the black at all and I like that it's a V shape so I can wear scoop-neck Ts and blouses and not have my bra show. Love it, love it, love it!!! July 2, 2011
Still love it two years later I have been wearing these bras for two years now and I love them. I have always hated the clasps in the back on bras and these are great because you can pull them over your head. I wear them every day and don't feel that they "smush" me. They are extremely comfortable and dry in an instant. My only complaint would be that after two years of wearing all the time, they do seem to stretch out and have to be replaced. June 14, 2011
Lovely, but not for me... I really wanted to love this bra. The fabric was fabulous and I prefer bras that don't have padding or underwire and am a big fan of patagonia products. I am a 36A and ordered the M and it was too big and quite unflattering. I am not sure the small would help. I believe the style is what keeps this from making the most of what I have. The Patagonia active mesh bra seems to allow my natural shape to come through better than this style. June 8, 2011
I Love this Bra! I bought this bra for a recent 2 week trip overseas. I brought 3 bras with me, and it was the only one I wore! I am 32A and petite, and have been looking for a bra that fits perfect; this one is it. I will be purchasing 2 more! June 7, 2011
Best bra for comfort and basic coverage With my A/B cup size my underwire bras were starting to leave marks on my chest (near the center) and I found this while looking for new bras (and particularly liking my exercise bra styles). This is super comfortable, provides basic coverage and not to much material. The material is lightweight and perfectly named "barely" as you can barely tell you are wearing it. After trying one pair I bought 2 more! It can be a challenge to put on if you are sweaty as the back rolls up a bit but it's no different than any other sports bra would be and since it's thinner it's easier. June 6, 2011
A staple for comfort and hot weather More than satisfied with this bra, inspired with comfort. I forgot a bra could feel this good. I am a 34B and started with Medium, not quite supportive enough for me so I tried a Small. The small is stretchy enough making it fit perfect. Great for any warm weather clothing, tanks, t's, dresses. An adjustable hook in back would help refine the fit and assist in putting on, not having to pull the bra over your head yet this would compromise the supreme nothingness and comfort of this bra. I definitely plan to get other colors, for sure. If you do not like pulling your bra overhead you may not care for this one. Thanks Patagonia for all the wonderful comfort and quality. Altrec is a great place to get Patagonia. May 27, 2011
Great for travel I really like this bra by Patagonia. Not the most intense support out there, but a great piece for traveling. If you are super busty, I'd probably opt for something else, but for many, this is just the ticket. I personally hate lots of material and padding in a bra, so I love it. March 6, 2011
Awesome and so worth the price! I bought this bra along with another one from a different maker. Patagonia does not disappoint! I work in a hot kitchen and this bra is so comfortable I am not aware I have it on. No pinching, no closure in the back, just pure comfort. Even though it's a bit pricey it's worth it. I will buy another one soon. February 22, 2011
Most comfortable bra ever I was very skeptical when I saw the claims made on both the Altrec and Patagonia websites (comfortable enough for an overnight bus, but also provides enough support for hiking) but the bra is amazing. I ended up ordering it from Altrec because they had a few other items I wanted. I put it on and completely forgot I was wearing it. It isn't overly constrictive like a sports bra which I like because if you're on the smaller side, you don't really need it. I also love that the no-slip straps really work. I'm buying three more for my upcoming trip around the world. The fabric dries quickly which is a plus if you need to wash your clothes in the sink and line dry. Probably not a requirement for most, but great for travel. February 13, 2011
most comfortable bra This bra is great. It's very comfortable, and I don't even notice it most of the time. The only drawback is that the fabric is very thin and when worn with a thin shirt, it can be a little revealing. January 30, 2011
My favorite bra I love this bra. It is attractive, comfortable and gives good support--for my size. At first I was just wearing it to aerobic classes at my gym but now I have all the colors and wear them all the time. I have a smaller chest and relatively broad back. I usually wear a 36A cup so it is difficult for me to find my size in most bra styles. The stretch factor in this bra takes care of that problem. Even though all of the support comes from the elastic in the fabric, I don't feel squished or flattened by it. January 18, 2011
Great Bra! This bra is so comfortable that I bought 4 of them! :-) Easy to slip on over your head. Not padded. You can adjust the straps. XS looked like it may be too small for me when I got it, but it fits great!! January 17, 2011
Comfortable everyday bra This is the best bra I've found for all day comfort. Fits true to size, moves with you, and offers plenty of support for smaller ladies. Seamless under thin shirts, hold up well to frequent washing, and most importantly, the straps never fall down!! I have three of these and will be buying more. Excellent product and well worth the price. January 17, 2011
Awesome This is the most awesome bra. Just enough to feel like something is there but isn't. Perfect for yoga, biking, strength training and I even wear it running since I don't really need any support. The only reason I give it an average for support is because there really isn't any but for those of us who don't really have any it's just right. December 30, 2010
ultra comfortable This has become my weekend bra. I do work in an office environment, and this bra unfortunately is not appropriate. Which is too bad, because it's ultra comfortable, provides just the right amount of support for not doing much physical activities. Every Friday evening, I put all my expensive underwires in the closet, and take out these (I have 2) for the weekend. They also wash well - by hand - and dry quickly. They are very lightweight. Perfect for travel. I've also taken them backpacking and love sleeping in them - that's very important for cold weather backpacking trips, where you don't want to undress all the layers just to take the bra off before crawling into the sleeping bag. November 1, 2010
Comfortable every day bra Just like the barely hipster, the bra is lightweight, very breathable, so comfortable that you don't think about it during the day. In looking at it, you would think there is no support but it definitely supportive enough for every day wear. I am a small A and don't need a lot of support and have exercised in this bra but if you want zero movement then go with a more supportive sports bra. I also like it because unlike sports bras, the cut is low enough to wear with v-necks and wrap tops so I don't have to wear uncomfortable regular bras anymore. September 27, 2010
Great Comfy Feel This bra is true to it's title. It's the closest thing to wearing nothing. Easy relaxed fit that is great for wearing under teeshirts or casual clothes. If you are a larger women there might not be enough support however. I love the fact that it has no back clasp or anything to cause discomfort. The look is sexy in black. September 23, 2010
Great bra I never have liked the bound feeling of most bras...and as an A cup, found it challenging to find a comfortable bra that offers support. This Bra is it! I have benn ordering them for the past three years. Super comfortable to exercise in, sleep in, and work in. If you are a serious runner they might not offer enough support, but they are great for yoga, climbing, and hiking. I like that the bra does not ride up when I stretch. September 19, 2010
Great if you are not too modest. Comfortable bra, surprising amount of support for my athletic build. I don't like wearing it with really thin or revealing tees since the bra material is also very thin, but it is fine with regular shirts. Material is very breathable, so it is a great bra for hot days. September 8, 2010
Nice lightweight bra Very nice lightweight bra by Patagonia. If you need support, look elsewhere, but if you want something light and breathable, this is it. August 25, 2010
Barely There I love this bra. I purchased several. I like to wear them to bed because they are so comfortable but can also wear them as a bra during the day because they offer enough support. Very impressive since the material is so seemingly "barely there" but yet quite sturdy. August 20, 2010
Barley There I love these bras! I wear them at night and over my regular bras during the day for extra support. I wear a C cup but this bra is fine for me, much more supportive and comfortable yet lighter material than the sports bras I used before I found these. August 16, 2010
excellent, simple, and supportive bra excellent bra for women who want very little. The support is great but there are no wires, clasps, pokes, pinches or discomforts. I have purchased many of these bras and love the design and simplicity.I am between size A and B and this bra is perfect for everyday use. I would not use it for exercising though. August 9, 2010
love love i have been wearing these bras for years and i love them! comfy, supportive, perfect for the small-chested athletic chick! August 9, 2010
Best Bra EVER! This bra is a must - light, thin, comfortable - simply the best! July 30, 2010
The BEST bra ever! I love this bra...it's so comfy, that you don't even know you have a bra on. I'm usually a 34A and I purchased the small in both colors. They give nice shape without being restrictive. June 15, 2010
Just what I was looking for. Had been looking for a casual bra (I'm a 34B and got a medium) that felt like I wasn't really wearing one and found it in this one. It's thin and seemed flimsy until I wore it - even hiking, it was fine, and wicked the moisture really well. I'm getting another. Love it! June 3, 2010
so comfortable! it's very light and perfect for warmer weather. the dusty taupe color is also really cute. I'm going to be buying more May 26, 2010
Looks and Fits Like a Training Bra I'm not sure why people like this bra, it's essentially a training bra. When it arrived, I was surprised to see how thin and flimsy it was. There's very little support (I would not want to run in this) and no shaping. It's not even double-lined, much less padded, so it completely fails in the modesty department. From reading the other reviews, it seems a lot of people wear this bra around the house due to the show-through and the lack of shaping. If you just want a casual bra to wear around the house for light support, this may be a good bet, but a basic camisole with shelf bra would be just as effective and far cheaper. April 17, 2010
I bought three of these and might get a few more I have been looking for a lightweight bra that is comfortable without any hooks or clasps. I like this style and hope Patagonia continues to make it... April 16, 2010
Wow! When I opened up my package the Barely Bra felt a little flimsy, however after trying it on and wearing it for the next few days straight--I am a believer! I always try to get away with wearing a sports bra whenever possible and am already a huge fan of the Patagonia Active Mesh bra, however the boob smooshing-ness and bright colors of most of my sports bras make them not very practical for all situations. I was especially pleased to see that this bra is offered in the Dusty Taupe color as that never shows my lighter colored tops. I give this bra an A++ for comort and cute-factor. I am a 36A/36B depending on the bra, and I selected a M, which is also the size I wear in the Active Mesh Bra, and it fits perfectly. I'm definitely going to be in the market to add a couple more to my collection. I do have one small complaint, and that is that due to the Barely Bras thinness, I do feel self conscious if the air is getting nippy, if you catch my drift. April 9, 2010
Patagonia Women's Barely Bra It gives a good support even it is a very light material. It will fit like your second skin! March 2, 2010
i love this bra. i bought 4 of them It's the most comfortable bra I have ever worn. February 24, 2010
Yes, I'm Happy With This One! I read lots of reviews on bras when I decided on Patagonia's Barely A/B bra. I measure out as a 36B, but usually wear a 38A or a small 38B for comfort reasons. So, I fell between the size med & lg for this Patagonia bra. I ordered the med in white & it fits fine. I wore it about 6 hours the first day & determined that a size lg might work well for me also. The band measures 25" in the med. The fit is fairly firm for me, but still comfy. The bra cups are unique in that it does enhance your look without squishing them together. I love the no hardware in the band as that area is uncomfortable for me in conventional bras (& I find the bands are always too snug for comfort). I had previously purchased some "today's special" bras off the TV & the Patagonia bras are so much better. I also love Patagonia's cup design in this one. It is engineered for a woman's figure, not just a stretchy flat piece of material. February 20, 2010
This bra will surprise you This bra just survived several hours of tennis and not once did I remember that I had a bra on ( I generally avoid bras if possible). Measuring 30 " below the bust, I selected the small. Functional and cute. February 18, 2010
lightweight but surprizingly gives good support very comfortable--doesn't bind or pinch or itch--and enough support for a B cup girl all day long. February 18, 2010
Feels great Very comfortable, secure fit - can wear this all day, all night. Flattering (does not flatten). Not padded so will show - can't wear this one for work. But for all else, it's great! February 11, 2010
Great! This is THE most comfortable bra and perfect for everyday use. The bra washes well and dries quickly. Totally worth the price and really cute as well. February 4, 2010
The most comfortable bra I have ever worn! This is such a terrific bra for everyday low-impact wear; when you want comfort from morning till night. The straps even stay in place, which is such an added bonus! I am buying two more today. January 28, 2010
Great lightweight coverage and support If you're like me, you want support without feeling like you just got a breast augmentation. This bra is the perfect solution for less well-endowed women: The material is lightweight and wicks well and the construction gives me the boost that I need to get through the day. All in all, another great innovation by Patagonia! January 25, 2010
my ne this is wonderfully comfortable and does not ride up! it's also attractive; i particularly like its cut; my old "favorite" everyday bra was too high cut in the armholes and showed with sleeveless tops. January 12, 2010
wonderful and comfortable bra for me (small bustline ) This bra is soft and offers light support which is all that I need. I wish that they did not go 'out of stock' so often and wish they would offer more fun colors ! January 4, 2010
a super bra I bought 3 of these - they're fabulous. I hate bras but these are next best to not wearing one. Perfect for yoga, biking, basically all activities except running. I'm going to buy a few more before they decide to "improve" them. November 30, 2009
Extremely lightweight and perfect fit Weighs 7/8 of an ounce which is great. Excellent fit for smaller busted women. The straps do not dig into the skin while wearing my pack. I would recommend this product to a friend. November 12, 2009
The Perfect Bra For Smaller Ladies!! I am an almost-A. This is the perfect bra for me. It offers the minimal support & coverage that I need - no padding, wires, hooks, etc - it is supportive, but not binding, and no uni-boob! The slip over style ensures smooth line under slimmer clothing & the V-front works well with lower cut tops. Fabric is cool & quick drying, perfect for low impact activities. I hope that they decide to make a nude/beige color as well. October 8, 2009
Finally, a bra for the little people. I'm a small A and have sloped shoulders. I don't need much, just something that keeps me from being a braless hippie, but there's not much to choose from that doesn't have 5 inches of foam and won't slip off my shoulders. This is the only unpadded bra I've found that fits me and doesn't squish me into a monoboob. I bought one initially and then six months later bought three more. It's comfortable and stays on with adjustable straps. However, it doesn't provide much in the way of nipple coverage and if you have a bigger rack, this isn't going to provide much support. August 18, 2009
comfortable and true to size Very comfortable soft & wicking fabric. True to size. Love the pullover style with adjustable straps. Planning on buying many more! August 10, 2009
no support for B cup I've tried a couple of Patagonia's other bras (24/7 sport bras) and really like them, so I was surprised at how "nothing" this bra is, very thin material with no shape. I'm a small B cup, and it gives me no support whatsoever--like the anonymous reviewer also said, it looks like I'm not wearing a bra at all. Or, like a training bra! Returning it. August 8, 2009
Super! Really great every day usage. Great material, non-itchy. Small works great for me: almost an A, but muscular back so close to 36. July 9, 2009
Comfortable! I've only had this bra for a few days, but I just love it! It is extremely lightweight and incredibly comfortable. An excellent every day bra if you don't need a lot of support. June 29, 2009
Comfortable! I've only had this bra for a few days, but I just love it! It is extremely lightweight and incredibly comfortable. An excellent every day bra if you don't need a lot of support. June 23, 2009
No support I wear a 32A. This bra does not offer any support/shaping for my bust. It looks like I'm not really wearing a bra when I wear this underneath a shirt. I guess it would be okay for a house bra. It is definitely barely there. The fabric also lints up or snags easily. June 23, 2009
Comfy! I thought I needed a medium, however, I discovered I am really a small. The comfort is unbeatable, and it truly dries quickly. I live and work outdoors in Northern Scottsdale - desert environment, so I want clothing that feels good next to my skin. I am purchasing more, just in a smaller size! June 3, 2009
usable staple item i bought one of these a few years ago and have worn them ever since! i am small chested and this is the most comfortable bra ever. there aren't any hooks to worry about and the fabric is light and stretchy. if i have to wear a bra- this is the one i go for. they hold up remarkably well given how light the fabric is. i still wear the first one i bought! May 13, 2009
I wear mine every day I started off with one for summer camping, and now I have four in different colors that I wear all year, every day. They are extremely comfortable, like the name implies, it's light, and you forget you're wearing it. I like that you put it on over your head, so there is no hook and loop closure jabbing your back. I also like that it doesn't flatten you out, like alot of 'sport' bras. May 7, 2009
Pretty Good I thought this was going to be padded, but it was not. May 4, 2009
