Tough as nails, cute enough for town!
October 29, 2012

Super tough nylon and padding throughout protect goods and allow bag to stand on own. Well placed pockets accomodate pens, cell, keys, lip balm, internal water bottle, outside docs, and technically a smaller laptop or tablet - although I use that pocket for my hat. Handles are long enough to put over shoulder, and also secure a yoga mat. Overall a very good value for the price - shop around - I did and didn't find anything as good for this cheap. My only complaints: the outside has a pocket at either end that's presumably for water bottles, but they aren't big enough to slip in even a slim one. Also, while it is cute enough to cruise around Boulder to and from work, it is not SUPER stylish and would feel ridiculous carrying it into an upscale bistro off Pearl Street...

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Check the laptop sleeve dimensions!
September 02, 2011

I bought this bag for work purposes, primarily. Not necessarily for toting around a laptop, but for bringing my stuff/lunch to and from work. For these purposes, this bag is *awesome*. Not sure where the "...will fit a laptop 17" or smaller..." information from, as, if you actually check the laptop sleeve dimensions (which I should've), they're only 9.5x14x2...which leads me to believe that it'd fit a 14" or smaller laptop...(incidentally, my previous 14" laptop fit perfectly inside...) Other than that, it's an awesome bag; a little rigid since it's padded, but nice because it doesn't just flop over!

Pros: Great design, Performance, Cons: description is wrong!

Wonderful bag but no zippered top!
October 24, 2011

I ordered this bag mainly because the purple color caught my eyes. It's perfect for my small laptop and has enough pockets for cell phone, sunglasses and three penholders. It also has an in- and outside holder for water bottle. It seems to be durable. The only con is that the top doesn't close/zip and the zippered mesh pocket is too small for my wallet so it is not very secure. They really should redesign this bag and make a closure for the top. If you get in a downpour things inside will get wet. I can only give it 4 stars for that.

Pros: Build quality, Great value, nice colors, Cons: no zippered closure on top

Lovely bag!

Love the bag. Only disadvantage to the bag is that it doesn't have a large enough hole for holding water bottles. Otherwise, great bag. Sturdy to use and seems like it will last forever.

Wonderful tote!
October 26, 2011

The Patagonia tote was exactly what I was looking for. It provides enough room to carry a lot of stuff and, at the same time, does not feel bulky when there isn't much in the bag. I got rid of four tote bags and replaced them with one Patagonia tote.

Pros: Great design
