Another beautiful product from Patagonia. Soft fuzzy inside, classy knit-like exterior. It fits beautifully for me (I'm 5'4", 120 lbs) in a small. My biggest dilemma is what other color I would like ... I am very satisfied with the colour, durability, warmth, and fit of the fleece -- and, of course, Patagonia's commitment to socially and environmental responsible production.

Love this jacket. I have an XS in the full zip, but the Small in this one fit perfectly. I also love the purple color. I get compliments all the time!

This product is one of my favorite sweaters in my closet. It is actually fleece, but looks like a sweater on the outside. I am a big fan of outdoor clothing for my everyday wear and I especially like the pocket on the sleeve. While it fits me perfectly, there is absolutely no room for breathing. I can wear a tight shirt underneath. I am 5'7" and weigh 130 lbs. with an athletic build and I purchased a small - fits perfectly.

Yeah budddyyy! They accurately named this sweater, it truly is a better sweater. Nice, warm, and received lots of compliments on it. It is fuzzy on the inside and that was a nice surprise. Love the sleeve pocket too.

My wife loves this sweater and has it in 3 colors. Looks and fits great. The only downside I see is that the outer material starts to pill after only 1 or 2 washings (she does turn it inside out when washing to try to avoid pilling). Otherwise a very nice sweater.

I've wanted this sweater since last season but never ended up buying it. I finally ordered it and it was well worth the wait! The lining is very soft--not what I expected, but great. I'm 5'9", 140 lbs, and the medium is perfect. I almost ordered the small and am glad I didn't.

I now have one of these in 4 different colors. The Better Sweater is great on many levels. It is very warm, keeps the wind out, and the women's is tailored nicely so wind doesn't make its way in at the waist. It does run small, the large is snug. It is sooo soft, and it looks like a sweater. The quality is amazing. The colors are beautiful, although the green/grey is not what I expected. So glad I stumbled across this item. Better than just about any fleece I have.

I chose this sweater as a replacement gift I received for Christmas. I would like to have had a different size in the original gift I received but as it took almost 3 weeks for the refund to be in place and by this time there were few choices available and this sweater was my replacement choice. I like Patagonia products a great deal and this sweater is very nice and unlike anything I have in my closet. I feel as if the fit is a tad smaller than usual but perhaps it's just the cut of the sweater.

I purchased this sweater for my daughter (who has recently become a patagoniac) and she loves it. It's a little dressier than her Re-Tool and has more of fitted style. The wool like exterior without the itch is an incredible design. Like all Patagonia gear it's sure to last for years.

The Patagonia quarter zip better sweater is perfect for California winters, hiking, and generally being outdoors. I even wear mine on casual Fridays at work. Altrec products and customer service is excellent also. Fast and easy. Highly recommend both the product and Altrec.

I have a full zip Patagonia Better Sweater, and although I love it, I would have to say that the 1/4 zip is the BEST sweater for me! It's super comfortable and without the full zipper, it fits extra well! It's like it was made just for me. I would recommend the 1/4 zip first and if you fall in love with it, you'll definitely love the full zip too. It's the best sweater when it's too cold not go without a jacket, but too warm for a heavy coat! So pleased with the BEST sweater ever!

This is a quality made product. However I found it to run a bit small. I am 5'3" and weigh 125 and the small was tight.

I tried this sweater in the oatmeal color on a whim and fell in love with it--the fit is very flattering and it is super warm. The color is fantastic--subtle and interesting texture. I am 5'10" on the thin side and appreciate the fact that this is the first fleece I have owned that doesn't look like a square on me. Definitely worth the price and I have a feeling I'll be buying more since I wear this one all the time.

This is my very first Patagonia, and it is awesome! It is warm, durable, and pretty. I got lots of compliments today. It says "slim fit" but it does not feel too tight.

I absolutely love this sweater from Patagonia. I'm 5'7'' and 126 pounds and ordered a small and this fits me perfectly. It keeps me warm when I'm hiking or even just going out town. Super stylish and comfy! I do wish it had pockets on the front, but it has an arm pocket that can fit a phone or a small wallet. I've already recommended it to a friend and I plan to buy another soon!

I bought this 1/4 zip after seeing it in the window at patagonia, when I went back to get it they were sold out of the color I wanted...this sweater is more like a thick fleece and has zero itch to it, I wore it out fishing on a cold fall day and had to shed it because it was too warm for sunny 60 degrees. I now have both the full zip and the 1/4 zip, the fit is superb, it's a slim fit, but has longer arms and hits just right at mid section, I'm 5'6 130pds, the medium fit just right as my shoulders are broader than most females at my size. The condor grey is more like a rich taupish chocolate, the pic does it no justice, well worth the money if you're thinking it's pricey for what it is...I'll be getting another color in both the 1/4 zip and the full zip.

I bought this as a Christmas present for both myself and my daughter. I am 5'7"/125 lbs and took a small, which fits perfectly. It's fitted without being tight and I still have room for a t-shirt or thin t-neck underneath. I LOVE this sweater. Having worn it all winter, I can now say after nearly six months that it launders beautifully and still looks new after quite a few washings (cold, low dryer briefly/mostly air dry). My 13 yr. old is petite (5'2"/95 lbs) and found the XS to be a bit roomy since she prefers quite a fitted look. She didn't wear hers nearly as much but I'm sure she will wear it more next winter after she "grows into it" more. We both got the gray, which is a nice "soft," heathered color that goes with just about anything. For me, it's a bit pricey but well worth the indulgence.

The better sweater is one of my favorites from Patagonia -- warm, comfortable, and great everywhere. This is my third one. My first has endured a couple years in the backcountry, and, while looking a bit worn, is still perfect in the seams and zippers. The current model that I just purchased seems a bit larger than previous years and with a stiffer collar, but that might be just new-ness. But a small is still great (5'4", 122lbs).

This sweater is super warm. The face fabric is smooth, and inside is soft and fuzzy. I got it in gray, which makes it classy enough to wear to work. Perfect with a nice pair of dark jeans on casual days.

Love this sweater! Very soft on the inside, seems very durable. I've been eyeing it for months, and the weather is finally getting cold enough to wear. Slightly fitted, but very comfortable and roomy enough for a tank or tee underneath. Patagonia has become my staple, and this is no exception!

I've only had the Patagonia Better Sweater pullover for a week so my review is based on that time period for now. I will consider updating it later once I've had time to wear it more. First impression though it's a very nice looking and feeling pullover. The fit is definitely slim and the sleeves are a little long. The one negative is that it doesn't have any pockets for my hands. I am so accustomed to having somewhere to put my hands. But, I anticipate that I will enjoy wearing this sweater for many years. I would recommend it to others. It is very popular right now.

I am 5'6 125 with a long torso and a small fits me perfect. Sometimes Patagonia gear can be a bit boxy but this sweater is long and slender and keeps you warm in the cold.
