Description
Light and smooth, thd Patagonia Capilene® 1 Silkweight Stretch T-Shirt for Women stretches when your bouldering workout has you folding and twisting like human origami. This is our most flexible baselayer, made to keep you dry and moving freely during active pursuits. The 84% polyester/16% spandex fabric provides 50+ UPF sun protection and has Gladiodor® odor control for the garment. It rests lightly on the skin, allows a cooling airflow, and wicks perspiration. The self-fabric neckline has a feminine, slightly scooped shape. Offset seams feel smooth under pack straps, and reflective logos on the front and center-back add visibility. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Love this shirt

I love the material. I bought a white one and I was worried about it being a little see through, but it isn't see-through at all. I have a long torso and the shirt sits right at my pantline, but it I still love it. Patagonia is super good quality, I love the Capilenes :) You should get one.

This shirt fits great, isn't too short or too tight. I'm usually a sml or med in Patagonia and a med fits just right. It's a great light-weight fabric, perfect for hiking, exercising or a day on the river. I will use this again and again!

I love this shirt and have worn it numerous times with lots of compliments. The capilene is soft and delivers what one would expect from Patagonia gear. I would recommend that you order a size up if you don't have a small frame. I ordered a medium (normally a size small) and the shoulders still pull a bit. It is well worth it though. The length is great and it is slimming without sticking to your core too much.

I ordered two of these shirts and they are not bad, they wash well, which is important and they will be nice for Summer. I really like Patagonia, but lately, it seems as though their quality control is a little off. I love the colors.

I have 3 other colors in this shirt, and wear them for anything active/outdoorsy- hiking, biking, kayaking, even golf on a hot day, this shirt is super moisture-wicking and keeps me cool and dry. Highly recommend even for running around the city doing errands where one could also work up a sweat! The fit is slim but not tight, and an XS fits me perfectly at 5'2" 103 lbs.

I recently started the Couch to 5K running plan, and purchased a few items to get started, including several short sleeved wicking tshirts. This is by far my favorite. The cut is flattering, without being too form fitting for my liking (it's not painted on!). It feels soft and comfortable to wear, and I feel cool and dry when I wear it to run. Thinking about buying another!

Shirt is a bit too long which makes it cling too much at the hips. No problems if you have a completely flat tummy. Love the feel of the fabric. The top half of the medium top fits perfectly, but may try next size up to see if that makes a difference. I usually prefer Mountain Hardwear Wicked's for their shorter forgiving waist.

Great colors, comfortable, simple-chic. I haven't used it for a workout yet but while trying it on, it feels very light-weight, soft and breathable. Recommended.

Patagonia Capilene is a great workout shirt

The Patagonia Capilene shirt is a great shirt my wife uses in her workouts. It wicks away sweat and has proven to be durable wash after wash. It's a thin synthetic shirt but it warms up quickly. She likes the close fit and uses it for all her runs. I would recommend this to anybody. It is pricey but it's worth it.

I ordered this t in the bright orange and bright pink; both are terrific colors & I receive lots of compliments whenever I wear either. It is a great layering piece since it is so lightweight & smooth....other layers glide right over. I've often worn this top under the long-sleeved version of the same top and find it a perfect combo for outdoor activities! The fit is pretty trim; I am 5"7 125lbs w/ a pretty small frame and I ordered a small, (with the intention of using this t as a base layer). The armholes are very fitted and it is also quite trim across the back of the shoulder, (fine for base layer use). The length isn't an issue, and I'm fairly tall, so no worries there. OK, off to walk the dog...and am wearing my Cap Stretch T!
