During long runs or active days under the sun, the Women's Capilene 2 Lightweight T-Shirt from Patagonia offers cool breeze comfort. This shirt is fashioned in Capilene 2 that features an open knit that encourages airflow to keep you cool and provides excellent wicking and exceptional breathability to keep you dry. Also isolative enough for chilly days when winter hasn't quite released its grip, it's the fastest-drying of our performance baselayer fabrics. With a feminine neck and elbow-length sleeves that stay put. Raglan-style sleeves and flat-ribbed underarm panels merge out of the way of straps to eliminate chafe. Made from 4-oz 100% polyester (54% recycled) with Gladiodor® natural odor control for the garment. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Awful fit and feel

I love Patagonia and have a closet filled with their products but this top had to go back. I always wear a size medium in Patagonia and this was way too big and long. They usually have the nicest fabrics but this material was rough and scratchy. It was awful and I sent it right back.

Love this shirt!

I am so surprised to read a bad review about this shirt! I wear capilene 2 under a Patagonia regulator fleece for hiking and backpacking. I add a layer over that for colder weather. I love the short sleeve version for warmer weather. It is my favorite warm weather shirt. Fits great, washes great, beautiful colors!

Tried and true Patagonia

I have purchased several Patagonia long sleeve capilene shirts in the past and loved them. I wanted to try the short sleeve for layering under the R1 fleece jacket and zip neck pullover. The capilene short sleeve shirt is awesome for layering, especially if you are using it under the R1 during aerobic activities such as x-cntry skiing or snowshoeing. I am 5'7", 122 lbs with a 36" chest measurement. I bought the size medium. It fit great across the chest but was a little loose in the waist. Regardless, the shirt still looked and felt great. Highly recommend this item.
