I love these athletic and fashionable stretchy underwear. They stay put, they don't ride up, and they sit low enough that they don't show at the top of my pants, but not too low to be revealing. Wicks moisture and retains shape. Love the colors and designs. I have 5 pairs!

I knew Patagonia made some of the best stuff around, but these undies take the prize :-) My boyfriend insisted that I just should not be hiking in thong underwear, so I reluctantly bought these hipster briefs. Love, love, love everything about them; fit, breathability, they stay in place, move every-which-way I do, ridiculously comfy. I want the boy short and active bra now too! I've only worn these once, but I can already tell that they're going to be my favorite workout undies. It's the most I've ever spent on a single pair, but I expect to get my money's worth. They're very well-made. The wide wasteband helps them stay on my hips, and they're not too tight around the legs. I got the Berry Sorbet color and it's very cute! My husband even commented that they look sexy. Luckily, I got the size medium before they sold out.

Patagonia's underwear are fantastic. The fabric is durable, washes beautifully and doesn't fade. It also wicks moisture nicely making these a great pair of skivvies for working out or hiking. I love the fit - flattering, actually kinda sexy for being as sporty as they are and they don't give you the dreaded wedge. Fit is right on.

I can't stop buying these. My first couple pairs were a gift, and now I won't wear any other underwear. They don't ride up and there are never any panty lines. Plus they manage to look sporty and sexy at the same time as well.

Yes, they're expensive. I bought just one at first, then liked that pair so much I bought an entire stock of them (enough for at least a week or more). The colors and designs are really cute, they breathe really well, and the're COMFORTABLE and don't ride up. Love Them!

i'd agree with everyone here...they're worth the money. very comfortable - material super soft and don't ride up. i like the cut, low enough to hide but not showing too much. only problem, i, like someone else wrote, do not have a very firm rear (working on it) so there are VPL if to wear a yoga pant. definitely size up like everyone writes. you won't be disappointed.

They are my guilty pleasure. I originally bought a couple of pairs for traveling but I now have maybe 7 or 8. For comfort, they can't be beat. They wick moisture and will wash and dry in hours - great when your laundry room is a pack bucket or a hotel sink!

These are the best full coverage briefs I have ever worn! They didn't ride up, and they wicked the moisture wonderfully on a 95degree day hike. I am a size 8-10 with a nice fanny, and the large fit perfectly.

I have had a really hard time finding underwear that didn't ride up when running. I really tried all the popular athletic brands and this pair is by far the best! I can tell you I don't even feel them. I wear a size 4 or 6 and the medium fit perfect. These wouldn't be good for someone with large thighs because the leg openings are small, the sides are wide and the crotch area is a little large, leaving a smaller leg opening. I would suggest the regular briefs in that case.

These are hands down, the most comfortable underwear I've ever had. The wide waist band keeps them on the hips, no riding up when I'm in the gym or riding down with my jeans. Simply amazing, they make it hard to wear any other brand!

Far, these are the best hipster briefs. I bought 6 of them, and I've used in differents situations: cold, hot, warm, etc. and they work excellent. Obviously, you don't take into account that you are wearing them. Finally, they dry quickly.

I usually wear thongs with my blue jeans but have found that I can wear any of the patagonia panties and not have any VPL!! The material is so soft you don't even notice that you have underwear on. THey are well worth the price!!

Being a thong wearer for several years now, I was used to the comfort of the low profile undie. However, I've been wanting to try the brief thing again but nothing I tried ever felt comfortable. Too much material, "riding up", and being a pretty athletic person I needed something that could wick well too. Patagonia's briefs are right on. They are of a soft, superb wicking material, with smooth lines, low rise, but they stay in place and remain comfortable all day no matter what I do. They also retain there quality wash after wash which is a big deal when you're putting money down for something. I have two pair and hope to get more. I actually look forward to wearing them! These panties are hands down worth it.

After agonizing over the price for a very long time I finally went for it and I'm so happy with these undies. I've wanted to try workout underwear for quite a while but couldn't see spending so much on just a pair of panties, it seemed so extravegant. Being a pretty active person I have tried many different brands of quick dry briefs and I have always been dissapointed. Not anymore! These capilene hipster briefs stay put and do not ride up at all, even after running a mile or two. The lower cut is perfect for some of my lower cut quick dry trail capris and pants, and the no band design is so comfortable. They also do dry quickly after washing. I read another review before buying these where someone mentioned they could not wait to put them on, now I understand. Oh, and did I mention virtually no panty lines?! My only regret is not buying more when they were on special a couple of weeks ago. I plan to purchase more of these and even at the higher price they are worth their weight in gold!

I have tried many panties over the years, endeavoring to find the perfect fit - including no-show panty lines, and most importantly, NO RIDING UP! Some have come close, or started out well but after washing, started riding up (presumably due to shrinkage). This Patagonia capilene briefs (both the hipster and regular briefs) seem to fit my "exacting" standards. There is absolutely NO riding up (AKA "wedging"). There's pretty much no panty line, either! They are so comfortable! Only thing - the label claims that they will dry within a few hours. I recently took them on a 10-day trip to Alaska - hand-washed them twice, they never dried that quickly and in fact remained wet even after overnight...other than that (fairly small quibble unless you want to use them alot for travel), they are perfect!

I absolutely LOVE these! With the style of jeans, tech capris, and board shorts sitting at your hip, other undies show. These have a nice thick rolled waist band that stays put and lays low. I am usually not a flower-girl, but my tomboy self has found more of my femme side with the flower prints. I have 2 pair now and will be getting two more. These are the only undies I wear--at the office, at the gym, in my kayak, walkin' 'round town. Very breathable, quick-drying. The best!

These are seriously the best the best underwear I've ever owned. I now have 3 of them. Patagonia has quality material that is soft and moisture-wicking. I think this design is better than the regular brief because it rides lower and you can wear them with low-cut jeans or yoga pants. But at the same time, you get full butt-coverage, which you don't get with the thong. Perfect. A+

Very comfortable, don't ride up hardly at all, cute patterns. I highly recommend. Although, the capilene has a tendency to pill when encountering extreme abrasion - i.e. beware washing in the same load as any garment with velcro.

I was glad that I ordered a size larger than what I usually wear. The leg openings are a little more restrictive than I usually wear. These are pretty cute, dry fast, and seem like they will be pretty durable - I will buy them again.

If you are only moderately active and therefore have a slightly flabby rear or fleshy hips, be sure to go one size up! I wear size 10/12, and purchased these in L... they squish my fat at the hips slightly, and were snug enough to show lines. Pros: excellent moisture wicking, cute designs, full coverage, no wedgies. Cons: no returns, so choose wisely. But I still like them so much I'm going to buy some of the non-hipster briefs in XL to wear until I'm skinny enough to wear the other 3 pairs!
