There's also chilly air in any season, and that's where the Patagonia Down Sweater for Women comes in. It delivers minimal weight, superb compressibility and high-loft warmth. The ripstop shell (1.4-oz 22-denier) with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish does more than look sharp: It's tear-resistant and windproof and made from 100% all-recycled polyester. Details include top-quality 800-fill-power goose down, an updated fit and styling, quilted-through construction, two exterior zippered pockets and a stretch-mesh interior chest pocket that doubles as a zippered stuff sack with carabiner clip-in loop.

i finaly bought one and was very happy with my purchase.its warm yet so thin and packable.its also a good looking jacket.it runs one size larger.i had to return it to get a smaller size.the sleeves are long but comes in handy when im not wearing gloves.

Very cozy. Go everywhere. Great weight for California--very warm but not bulky. The windproof external shell is light but not too delicate; however, for everyday use, a slightly heavier material might give more peace of mind. So far, the shell also seems quite downproof. I've noticed jealous glances at the climbing gym.

I bought a Patagonia down sweater for my girlfriend because we are moving from the central coast of California to Spokane Washington. Patagonia makes wonderful gear and the down sweater is light weight, very compact, as warm as can be and feels good to the touch.

If you want warmth without the bulk, then buy this jacket. I got two - for my husband and myself - to wear while hiking the Andes in Peru, and we had everyone, including our trek guide, drooling over these jackets. One of the Peruvian guides kept on hinting that he wanted my husband's jacket - no way were we giving these babies up. They were our favorite purchase for the trip! Compresses down into a tiny little ball. Fits very true to size, even with layering. I normally wear XS, and the S was way, way too big on me.

I have been eyeing this jacket for a few months now and am glad I bit the bullet and got it. Love it! Extremely lightweight and very warm, I bought it to wear alone or under a rain shell. Works like a charm. The fabric is awesome and very easy to slip over or under a layer. Sleeves are longer than other Patagonia jackets I own which is good to pull over my hands in cold weather. Also the color is more of a minty green than silvery as it appears on the screen.

I do enjoy this jacket very much. It is incredible lightweight, but very warm. It is also very thin, so it looks great as well. I wear it under a gore-tex jacket as ski jacket, and that is also comfortable and warm! For me the sizing is just right.

This jacket is amazing - very lightweight and comfortable, yet quite warm. It is extremely easy to move around in and slips on and off nicely. It does run a little large in sizing - I usually wear a small but wore an xsmall in this jacket and the sleeve length was still just right.
