Description

Think sustainable materials and modern style, and you’ve got the Patagonia Down With It Vest for women. Patagonia is well known for their high quality outerwear and commitment to the environment. The Down With It Vest exemplifies both with a dose of mountain style that is equally at home in town as it is on the mountain. The heart of this vest is its premium 600-fill European goose down insulation and all-recycled polyester shell. But what sets it apart from other vests is its cozy, deep-pile fleece lined hood. The removable hood provides cozy shelter from the storm and adjusts with two drawcords. The vest’s diagonal chevron quilting compliments its contoured fit, while the non-quilted side panels enhance the trim silhouette. Zippered on-seam handwarmer pockets offer convenient access, and a secure interior pocket provides storage for special items. A durable waterproof repellent finish sheds moisture. Wear it on its own or layer up with your favorite shell. Either way, you will warm your core and look great doing so in the Patagonia Down With It Vest for women.

Great Vest
April 25, 2012

This was the best gift I could have given my wife for Valentine's Day. She liked the vest so much, that I just had to get her all four colors. One of the best features of the vest is the removable hood. The build quality is great, it warm, and the colors go with an array of different attire. My wife is 5.4" and a medium was a perfect fit.

So overall, I'm really satisfied with this purchase: it fits really well and is quite flattering for a vest (although it runs a bit small, I got a L, 5'5", 140), and the price was about was reasonable for a Patagonia product. The removable hood is also a great feature. The color, however, was a bit of a surprise. I ordered the Headlands Plaid/Driftwood color and expected it to be more of a gray/green, it is more green than what the image looks like on the website. This is fine because it'll go with just about anything, but the website image should reflect the color a little more accurately.

Fits well, Good looking, Comfortable
January 29, 2012

Fitting very well (M size for 5'6", 123lb). Well done product, sewn very nice. Cloth quality is also good. The appearance looks a little thinner than my expectations as down vest, but it is functionally warm enough, and ease moving arms. So I agree with this design. Satisfied!

slim fit
January 28, 2012

Have to return the size medium -- the vest fits very close to the body; it is lovely over a t-shirt but it does not leave room for a bulkier underlayer. (I am 5'6"and 130#) I bought the raven plaid and it is gorgeous -- extremely subtle and versatile for a plaid. Has black, brown, navy, dark gray, dark wine -- looks great with everything, and because it is Patagonia you know it is good quality. Sadly, you were out of size large when I tried to reorder.

runs small- not too crazy abt the zipper
January 25, 2012

If youre size is 12 order XL. Large would be very small for you. I ended up returning mine. Zipper does not seem very durable on this vest one. Love the color though and the cut.

Pros: Great design, nice hood

I love this vest. I mostly wear mediums in Patagonia but in jackets I take a small sometimes. The medium in this vest is a good fit. 5'2", 127lbs, 34C. The length is good too.

worth the wait
September 05, 2011

I love this vest, as I am 'mad for plaid'. I have wanted one since Patagonia released it and now I have one. I am petite but busty the medium fits great, looks great and feels great. Love that it has a hood, super bonus! Overall, great vest and I cannot wait to have another in another color!

Excellent comfort with great style appeal
April 05, 2011

I wore this vest every day this winter on the way to and from the gym over my gym hoodie. It provides just enough warmth to keep you cozy but not enough that you overheat. Of course I also wore this vest out and about on weekends and on slightly warmer days, as it's the perfect vest to transition between stores, cars, and the cold weather. The hood is cute and fuzzy on the inside, which was especially great when it was snowing- the top of the hood juts out far enough to keep your head and face protected from the elements. The fit is true to size and flattering. Lots of compliments, a great find!

Great Vest
January 24, 2011

I have been very happy with this vest and I get compliments all of the time! The length is great. IT comes down far enough to keep me really warm. I am 5'4" and about 135 lbs. I went with a med over the small so I can wear a sweatshirt under it on colder days. Love it!

Women's Down Vest
January 17, 2011

The size small vest fits perfectly (I'm 5'4 and weigh 114) and am short wasted. It's totally warm and snugly. The subtle plaid gives a little color but generally the vest could be worn with any neutral pants. Snaps would make it a little more flexible.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, comfort
Cons: Cost, no snaps
Comfort: 5 / 5

Warm and not bulky
December 21, 2010

Great length falls just below hips. Hard to find fitted vests with hood and this one works. Nice and warm and good if you are in and out a lot (walking back and forth to class) - not having to hang and store bulky coat.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use
