The 4-way polyester/spandex stretch-woven fabric is wind-and-weather-resistant, stretchy, highly breathable and tough as nails on the outside. On the jacket's sensitive side, a brushed interior and chamois-lined collar provide enough next-to-skin comfort to make even the aluminum-foil-chewing, burlap-underwearin' mountain guide sing and dance. The left chest and two handwarmer pockets close with Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) zippers, while the hood fits over a helmet, adjusts with a single pull, and has a laminated visor. Sleek, simple, stretchy self-fabric cuffs and a dual-adjust drawcord hem seal out the elements. Cut trim but with room for underlayers. The Guide Hoodie is recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.
