Favorite running rain jacket
This is my favorite running rain jacket. Very lightweight. Breathable. Wind resistant and water repellant. Adjustable hood. I sized up so sleeve length covered my hands in the rain.
Great jacket for layering. Easily ties around your waist if you heat up during a long run.
Wish Patagonia would move the pocket to back. If I put too much into the side pocket, it rubs on my left arm. The pocket holds gus, gels, blocks, gloves, etc.
Great bright colors. Highly recommend this jacket for rainy windy runs.

Raspberry Wind Jacket
Light weight and wind proof, bright color, has a hood and comfy. I plan to take this jacket everywhere. It fits into a purse nicely.
The bright color allows you to be seen by cars if walking on the road.

great light weight jacket
Repels wind and rain, slim fit, which I prefer. Keep that in mind if planning to use over other clothing. Does not 'whistle' as many nylon wind toppers do as arms move. Vivid colors to choose from. Patagonia is a great company, stand behind their products 100%. Yes, you tend to pay more, but well worth the cost.

Great jacket for misty morning run
I went to running in the misty morning with Houdini. It's very comfortable and light. I enjoyed running with no stress.
I love this jacket, so I always run with Houdini.

The Perfect Fit
I like how elemental this jacket is. Stretchy windbreaker/rain protection. The self-pocket is the perfect size and location for my big Motorola Android phone so now I have no excuse not to be available. I took off one star because of the outrageous price and the fact that it can heat up a little in the underarms - it could use a few reinforced air holes in the armpits - *not* pit zips, which would interfere with its elementalness.

Great windblock
I really impressed with the material of the houdini that I bought one for my husband. It is so light and smooth, I layered an R1 jacket underneath and good to go in the low 40s and upper 30s with no problem. However it is not a rain jacket.

trail worthy jacket
I purchased this jacket as a light weight option for wind and light rain protection for a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail this year. The weight 2.5 oz was ideal for backpacking and keeping pack weight low. It was very wind resistant and the hood adjusts to fit your head snuggly without drooping in your eyes. I used it on cool mornings to keep warm till the day warmed up. It shed light rain well. In heavy rain it has the same affect as most rain jackets, you get wet either from rain or body condensation. I used it almost daily and in the evenings at camp to keep the mosquitoes from eating me alive. I would recommend this item.

Perfect jacket for the rainy weather.
It's a 5 all around. This is a great jacket to travel. I am going to England and it is WET over their so this jacket will work perfect for me. The fabric is so soft I can roll it and put it in my handbag and take it out when I need it.
