Cant wait to wear
January 18, 2012

I bought these pants for snowboarding. I have always worn Burton stuff but the quality in Burton is not good and my stuff does not last long. I have always loved Patagonia for making a long lasting great product. I still have some patagonia from my teenage years.......... I ordered a Medium in the pants I am 5'7 and around 145 lbs. They fit like jeans no room for a layer. So I am returning for a large. I hope the large has room for at least one layer. Its cold here in VT! Mobility and warmth are key..... They look great and can't wait until the big boys come.....

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value

Best in class
January 02, 2012

Bought these for my wife and she loves them The Powder Bowl fit better than the Primo, a bit more room. They have a nice long hem and they snap-in to the powder skirt on Patagonia jackets. Patagonia quality is outstanding, thet are very waterproof. There is not a ton of insulation but just enough. Highly recommended.

Pros: Build quality, Ease of use, fit

Ski with style
January 01, 2012

I love skiing, and Patagonia is my choice of clothes when I go skiing. I own Patagonia powder bowl jacket and pants, and I love them. They are not only chick and stylish but also keep me warm, give me great comfort and mobility. I often get complements from other skiers and ski instructors about my ski outfits. Since I wore the same outfit for 5 years, I wanted to change this year and buy new one. I chose insulated powder bowl pants this time just to see and compare to my old pants. It was as great as I expected in terms of design and style, but the fit was little bit too big and bulky for me, so I ended up returning it. It might be perfect for people who ski in really cold mountains. I ski in Japan, and the weather is not so cold, so I will buy uninsulated pants.

Excellent pants
October 03, 2011

Can't assess the full use details of the pants because it's not ski season yet, but I've been wearing them all over the house--I'm 5'3" and 125 lb-the mediums are pretty baggy (how I wanted them)-If you wanted a closer fit, probably get the small. REALLY REALLY comfortable. Can't wait to see how long I last on the slopes before having to come in.

Pros: Lasts forever, Great value

Worth the Premium
January 03, 2011

These pants are worth the premium price. I wore them over a New Year's holiday in Tahoe in blue-sky conditions and also negative temperatures. I never felt cold wearning them and was fine on the moderate days, just opening the vent a tad when I got the slightest bit warm. My only caveat is to order a size down. I wear a size 6 pant and ordered medium, then had to exchange for a size small. Otherwise, these pants are what I've been looking for.

Great snow pants
November 09, 2010

Patagonia makes terrific products and these pants are no exception. Stylish and comfortable, they will look great on the slope and afterward hanging out. If you are looking for warmth, style and bullet proof, but these pants (but know they are a bit large). I am usually a size 4 and bought small and ended up with extra small.
